Kiara thought it would be better if they did something about his wound now, but if he insisted on getting the dead prey back first and then take care of it, then she couldn't argue

Vah looked over to his left and then his right to remember where to go next. They shouldn't really be too far from 'home' now, since they were on there way back when they caught the Wildebeest. "It's not far now, just-just a few more minutes, then we'll be back." he could still feel the pain of his wound as much as he did when he first recieved it, and could also feel it leaving a small trail of blood down his cheek, but he tried to forget the pain as much as he could as he focused on getting back.

"I can't really see much, but okay!" Kiara again managed to barely mumble from underneath the heavy weight. The only thing she liked about carrying heavy things was the relief of finally putting it down

Vah grinned and looked slightly over to Kiara. "You sound pretty enthusiastic about us nearly being back." he told her, more of a statment than anything else. "I thought that lifting this is quite fun...I was actually planning on walking for a little while longer." he said sarcastically, although not showing the sarcasm. He was hoping that he could maybe wind her up a bit, but in a friendly way obviously. "Its good excersise you know!"

Kiara gasped from underneath the beest, feeling more tired than Vah was. "No, no... No, exercise lat... Wait I don't need to exercise!" she said, adding a laugh at the end. She knew that Vah was just kidding around as always

Vah smirked and raised his eyebrows in mock surprise, even though Kiara couldn't see. "You don't need any exercise, huh? Well, it seems like you do..." he trailed off, laughing silently to himself.

Kiara continued to play along with Vah's joke, "Cubs are heavy, okay?" she asked, a laugh coming after her answer

Vah chuckled and let a grin takeover his expression. "Yeah, yeah...excuses, excuses." he let out a long, deep breath and then stopped walking as he started actually focusing on the general walking part. "Oh. Looks like were here. Home, sweet home." he smiled and walked slowly inside with the Wildebeest, leaves brushing against his body as he did so. "Man, i'm gonna be so glad to put this down..." be muttered to himself.

Kiara didn't say anything else, she followed Vah back inside. Once she was sure they were inside the 'den' itself, Kiara removed the dead wildbeest off her back

Vah heaved the Wildebeest off of his shoulders at the same time as Kiara and then stretched a little to ease the aching feeling from his shoulders after carrying the dead animal all the way here. After he had stretched, Vah put a paw up to the gash in his cheek and softly touched it. It started to sting a little, an indication it had not yet started to heal properly. He took his paw away from the wound and saw that it was also still bleeding a bit. He just shrugged and began thinking other thoughts. He was sure it would heal soon enough.
