Angus agreed with her. It seemed true that they had practically raised her, and he found that rather unique, given thought. Shortly after he heard her mention the pride accepting him back. Bring me back? I had to leave because I was going to be killed! I wasn't harmlessly exiled. Things don't go like that where I am from. "..They wouldn't." Angus glanced down at few of the many scars scattered all over him. If his father, the king himself did this, he'd surely be killed if he set a paw in the territory.

"What...Why? I'm sure that whatever you did they will forgive you." Kamaria said. Why wouldn't his pride accept him back? she thought to herself.

Angus hesitated to answer. What would happen if he told her? He thought about just brushing pass it, but it would come back eventually, and most likely when he was too stressed out to even speak in general. "Well, um.. what would you do if someone was a killer in your pride? And.. they just returned? Would you even trust them?"

"Well, I don't know, but if that person didn't mean to kill whoever it was they killed, and they had a kind heart, I would trust them. And if they were the opposite, I don't know." Kamaria said as she looked at her home.

Angus didn't bother to say much now. He wasn't sure if he meant to do what he did, and if he truly had a kind heart. Was he just trying to come along on this fight to taste more blood? Sure, he'd love to go and attack another lion sometime, but he wouldn't intend on killing again. Besides, even if he did manage to inflict a lot of pain on Kamaria's father, what good would it do?

Kamaria noticed that Angus was quiet, so she walked over to him and said, "Hey, everything will be ok, you'll see. Once I take my rightful place as Queen, heh, I'll help you with your situation if you want me to." She smiled at him, hoping he would feel better.

Angus gave an unsure smile. "Heh, Well, I don't even know what is left of my pride. Besides, you need to care for your own pride when your queen, and not worry about others'." He stood up from the spot he was sitting at, and began to walk forward a bit. Looking over his shoulder at Kamaria, he said, "Speaking of which, we better get going. The longer we stay here, the more chaos is brought to your pride."

Kamaria nodded, and said, "Alright, let's go." Then she walked past Angus and started for her home. 'I'm coming, Mom,' she thought, not knowing she said it out loud.

"You had a special bond, you and your mother..?" He asked quietly, hoping not to anger her. If she didn't wish to tell anything such as family bonds, Angus would respect that.

"Yeah, my mom and I....we have this understanding that no mother and daughter ever had before. She was always there for me, and I have thanked her every day when I was on my own." Kamaria said as she thought of her mother.
