Alana just shrugged it off and began to talk to Tavu and the few moments of awkward silence. Chaka walked over to his sister and looked at her and then spoke quietly,
"We've never played 'tag' before have we? I'm sure we haven't...". However, then noticing that the other twin was on her own, he walked over to her instead and smiled timidly. "Hey, Amara isn't it?", he asked her before sitting down opposite her.

Meanwhile, the three lionesses had located a group of antelope and began to stalk them, the two lionesses fanned out and Gracie wasn't sure what to do, when they began to chase, she did so as well. She brought down her own antelope, but the two lionesses worked together. She watched them bewildered as she finished the antelope she caught off.

Tara was killing their antelope and Dalani walked over to Gracie,
"Hey, have you ever hunted in a group before?". Gracie shook her head, and finally let go of the antelope's neck. She frowned slightly, disapointted that she did something wrong.

"Sorry...I've only ever hunted on my own before". However, Dalani wasn't angry, instead she spoke enthusiastically and in a rather impressed tone,
"Oh it's ok, you are a great hunter! You brought that down yourself". At the compliment, Gracie's face lit up, she hadn't been complimented since she was a cub.

Shani shrugged, "Not that I remember." she stayed back while her brother approached Amara. The much shyer cub whose gaze was on her own paws looked up at Chaka in the upper corner of her eyes. It took her some time to find the voice to speak, and when she did her voice was very weak and gentle, almost difficult to hear. "Y-yes..." after that she looked back down at her paws.

Tara took a few more moments before finishing the antelope she and Dalani focused on. She got up and walked over to Dalani and Gracie, an impressed look on her face as well. Gracie needed less time killing her antelope on her own while Tara and Dalani together took more time. "I have to agree, you're really good." she said, sharing a nod of agreement with her friend.

Chaka thought he was shy at first, but Amara seemed even more timid and she wasn't even new here. He gave her a gentle smile and spoke quietly,
"Well, I think Amara is a really pretty name". He wanted to be friends with the cub, she seemed a little nicer than her sister and Tavu. Alana had managed to overhear what Chaka had said to her sister and frowned slightly, but it was soon wiped off her face when Tavu pounced on her playfully, wanting to wrestle.

Gracie was over the moon with the compliments, it might sound like she was over reacting, but she wanted to jump around and cheer for herself.
"Thanks, I didn't realize I was any good at hunting", she replied happily. For so long she had only focused on her cubs, and on Roark, and she never realized she had skills of her own that were always not cared about or overlooked. The three lionesses began dragging the kills home, knowing that there would be enough for everyone to have a good meal tonight.

Amara forced herself, out of politeness, to once more look at Chaka when he spoke to again. She could feel her cheeks becoming a little red, making it even harder to come up with a respond. Her mouth moved in what seemed to be a 'thank you', but all that came out was a quiet whisper. Mheetu was eying the entire scene. Amara was obviously being timid and Shani was probably not joining in on the wrestle because she was used to playing with her brother all the time.

Chaka could see the cub was finding it difficult to talk to him, and felt a bit bad for carrying on the conversation.
"It's ok....uhm...", he muttered before walking back to his sister, glancing over to Amara again, still feeling a bit bad. He watched Tavu and Alana wrestle for a moment and looked to his sister,
"Uh, wrestle?", he asked her, trying to take his attention away from Amara.

Amara felt stupid with herself for not being to answer, but other than that nothing else really happened in her regard. Shani looked at her brother as he came back. 'That went... well, I guess...' she thought to herself, and considered saying hello to Amara but holding back when she realized that it was probably not a good idea. A few moments later she looked at her brother with a sneaky grin, "You're on!" with that she pounced at him with a cubbish growl. Chaka was still a bit out of concentration because of Amara's presence so Shani found it easy to win that one.

Chaka smiled at his sister after she had won and growled playfully,
"I'll win next time sis". Tavu had watched the fight and seemed impressed with Shani. He padded over and gave her a grin,
"Wanna fight me?", he asked.

Gracie, Dalani and Tara were almost back at the den. Gracie glanced to the sky and noticed it was evening, she wondered for the first time for a moment whether Roark had returned, and what his reaction was like if he did. She brushed it aside, she was away from him now.
"Almost home", Dalani said quietly to the two, it was tiring carrying an antelope, and Gracie and Tara would know.

Shani couldn't help but tease her brother, "I'm sure you will." she said, the sarcasm clear in her tone. She was a bit surprised when Tavu came over, having not expected him to come and ask her to play with him. But she had always wanted to experience what it felt like to play with other cubs, and now was her opportunity to do so. "You're on."

Tara was also able to recognize their surroundings and she knew that they'll arrive back at the den any minute now. She doubted Mheetu was encountering any difficulties with the cubs, he never did.

Chaka was sitting back to watch the wrestle, and Alana joined him. She was counting on Tavu to win, and told the male cub this.
Chaka gave her a smirk and replied,
"My sister'll beat him". Alana gave a sarcastic of course before the wrestle began.

Tavu approached Shani and crouched down into a pouncing position, before jumping at her and tried to pin her straight away, rolling around in a little ball with her. He growled playfully and nipped her softly here and there, as cubs do when they are play fighting.

Amara decided to also look, but she didn't approach because she was simply too shy to do so. Shani and Tavu wrestled playfully and neither one of them seemed to be getting the better hand (or paw). Mheetu couldn't help but smile warmly upon seeing Gracie's cubs act less nervously.
