When You Need To Move On (DGFone and VitanisMate)

Vitani frowned. "The waterhole?" she asked, "what's so great about the waterhole?" Considering how much Kopa wanted to fool around today, she found it odd that he won't do anything interesting afterwards.

Nala nodded. "Sure, I'll go talk to him then." She gave Simba a quick lick before turning back to the den and walking slowly inside. She saw Kopa talking with Vitani, and chose to wait a little while, in order to let her son some time and finish up talking before she would get to him.

Kopa said, "Well...I mean you know we have to get there first before you find out."

[DGFone]

Vitani was about to say that they were alone and that Kopa can tell her, but then she noticed Nala standing by the den entrance. "Oh, I get it," she said, motioning with her head towards Nala. "I'll see you tomorrow then?" She got up and rushed out the den.

Nala remembered her own conversation with Simba when they were cubs that went on almost completely identical to this. But for now, she had other things to worry about, more specifically about Kopa's behavior during the day. She allowed Vitani to walk past her before turning to her son. "Kopa, may I talk to you?" she asked.

Kopa sighed and said, "Yes mom."

Nala smiled slightly before sitting down next to her son. "So I heard that you and Vitani had quite the adventures today," she said, "including a few interesting places. Care to tell me where the two of you went to?" She wanted to let Kopa do the talking so that he would give his perspective to her, but also so that he himself would realize what he did instead of her simply telling her.

Kopa looked at his mother and said, "Well mom we...went with Frank and Zazu to look at the outskirts of the Pridelands. Frank said we could do that."

Nala nodded. The outskirts of the Pridelands, while not the most ideal of places for Kopa and Vitani to go to, where still within the boundaries. "And then where did you go?" she asked. Her plan was for Kopa to admit himself what they did, instead of having her tell him.

Kopa nodded and thought that perhaps he could try and get Frank in trouble and not him, "Oh well Frank let us go even farther all the way into the Outlands! It was a great place mom but very barren. Frank lets me do anything."

Nala hid a frown. From what she understood, Frank wasn't the one to do something like that. And from what Zazu had told her and Simba, Kopa was being not entirely truthful with her. "Is that so?" she asked, "Kopa, you need to tell me the truth, because from what Zazu told me and your father, things were slightly different." She looked at Kopa, almost daring him to continue lying to her. It was a look that he didn't enjoy getting ever. "So, is that what really happened?" She could understand Kopa not being entirely truthful with her about where he went, but she won't let him get away with shifting the blame.

Kopa gulped and said, "Of course it's the truth Mom."
