Alma sat next to Marrone to watch the pride awake.

Addana sucked in a deep breath. "I would like to apologize for the way I reacted yesterday," she said in her usual quiet but commanding tone. "I-" Before she could continue, her father's voice rang across the clearing. She closed her muzzle and turned away without another word, already engrossed in trying to figure out what was going on. There was rarely anything important going on in her pride that she did not know about and she had to admit she was curious about whatever Marrone was going to tell them. She made her way to the front of the gathering crowd and took a seat by her mother and brother. "What is going on?" she murmured to Alma.

"Your father is just giving orders to some of the pride." Alma replied,"What are you doing Addana?" Alma asked her daughter, because she really never got a chance to talk to her much.

[Nitro]

"I am...sitting here," Addana said quietly, trying not to disrupt the Pride meeting. She was confused about her mother's question, as they had not spoken much other than an occasional "hello" or to receive some daily orders. Addana had always been closer to her father and strayed from Alma's embrace since Nyembe seemed to be her favorite.

Alma chuckled, "Good one I see you have gotten so much from your father," Alma thought to her self 'all but her color' Alma looked at Nyembe who was still sleeping, "Addana do you mind getting your brother up he is supposed to show Vitani around today." Alma ordered in a questioning way.

"Yes, Mother," she said obediently and padded over to where her brother lay. She cuffed him on the ear not enough to hurt but just enough to startle him awake. "Get up, Nyembe," she snapped, irritated that he lazy and disrespectful enough to sleep when the King was speaking.

Alma turned around and looked in the den seeing that Nyembe wouldn't get up she walked into the den. Alma put her head close to Nyembe's ear then roared. "ROAR!!!"

Delano just sat there with a goofy grin, paralyzed by Tempesta's lick. It was only after Marrone called him for a second time did Delano finally get up and walk over. "Sorry," he apologized. "Just got lost there for a second."He briefly looked over at Tempesta as he said it.

Finally regaining his senses, Delano looked around and saw the others assembled next to Marrone. "So what do you want us to do?" Delano asked. He didn't know of anything that would require that large of a group.

Vitani slept silently, unaware of what everyone else was doing. She was lost in her dream.

"Come on mom!" A dark lion cub yelled to his mother. Vitani stepped from behind a large tree. "Coming Jufasa." She moaned, walking slowly behind the cub. Another lion stepped into view, Nyembe. He walked over and licked her cheek. "My queen, and one on the way." He smiled, as Vitani rubbed her swealing stomach. Vitani frowned, "Yeah, I guess so." Her voice was dull, and depressed. Nyembe smiled. "I'll love you forever."

A scream echoed in the jungle, made by Vitani. She was on her feet quick, as she started hyperventilating. "Just a dream." She whispered to herself. Dropping her head, she checked to make sure she wasn't pregnant. Vitani smiled and approved.

Maximus lay close beside Himili. His aqua eyes opened with an ease, as he opened his mouth and yawned. "Wake up sleepy head." She nudged Himili, softly chewing on her ear. "It's morning." He laughed, stretching his arms and legs. Zuwa lay in Himili's paws, he outstretched a paw and moved Zuwa's head. "You too young man." He paused, acting all father-y. "I'm going to teach you how to fight like a man." Maximus laughed, quickly gathering himself and standing on his paws.

Alma heard a scream. "Huh?" She thought to her self before running out of the den. And saw Vitani breathing heavily once she got near her. Alma stopped running and asked Vitani,"Are you ok Vitani?"
