"She loved you too," Chien said.

[Adofo]

Adofo: I want you to promise me something. That you'll do enough living for the both of you.

[Iri]

"I will." Chien's voice was confident, but laced with grief.

[Adofo]

Adofo: You want grandpa to hold you for a while?

[Iri]

Chien glanced down at her paws. "I... guess?"

[Adofo]

Adofo picked her up and let her lay her head on his shoulder.
Adofo: I love you!

[Iri]

Chien smiled a little. "Why'd you choose to bury Baie?"

[Adofo]

Adofo: Well.....your sister visited me in a dream the other night and...she told me something important. If i didn't open up to your father...our relationship would never be able to recover. And....a parent should never have to put their cub into the ground.

[Iri]

Chien nodded. "I guess."
