They all surrounded Tua and Kopa. His parents and grandmother hugged him and he returned the gesture. "Kopa, who's this?" asked Simba, looking at the cub on his son's back.
"This is your granddaughter, dad." said the prince with a small smile, gently picking his daughter up by the scruff before lying down and placing her between his paws.
Sarabi looked the most dumbstruck. Nala looked worried. "What's wrong with her?" she asked.
"She hasn't had milk for days... Not since her mother died..." Kopa sighed. "Please... Is there any lioness in the pride who might be able to nurse her?"

Tua: ....Marini.....can you help her? ....Please?

Simba nodded. "One of the lionesses has given birth very recently." he said with a smile. "Wait here for a moment." The king then went into the den. He had a grandcub... That felt weird and amazing at the same time.
Sarabi meanwhile nuzzled her grandson and then her great granddaughter. "She's beautiful, Kopa..." she said. Nala then did the same thing. "I'm sorry about what happened to your mate, but the cub will be okay here..."
"Thanks, granny..."
"What's her name?" asked Nala softly, lying down next to her son. The cub had brown fur; she resembled her mother by appearance more than she did her father, but she did have his eyes. At the moment, though, she was still exhausted and asleep.
"Siari."

Tua: ....where's Marini?

Simba came back outside followed by a lioness from the pride. She exchanged a few words with Kopa before he picked his daughter up and headed into the den with the others, leaving Tua and his parents outside with Simba. "Oh, um... She got quite upset when she found out..." said the king.

Tua: Simba.......I........I'm so sorry.......hearing.....what my mother said.......it hit an old wound that never healed. If you want to punish me for how I acted......I don't blame you. I'll take what's coming to me.

Simba sighed. "I don't want to punish you." he said with a small smile. Turning around, he headed into the den as well.

Tua went inside.
Tua: Sarabi.........I'm sorry....for how I acted..........I just......I'd always hoped.......but it's obvious why you never wanted me........I'm just.....nowhere good enough to be your real son.

Sarabi looked up at Tua. They had managed to wake Siari up and the cub was now bust feeding. "Tua, you know that's not true." she said. "If you wanted me to also call you my son, all you had to do was say so..."
