[Yeah, I'm better now.]

"Oh, for the love of the blazing stars, is it really that much to get excited over?" Chaltuu snorted. While, yes, she did consider Kapuki, Shujaa, and Ua her kin, they were estranged from each other now and Chaltuu felt very little love for her sibling- it was mere respect and acknowledgement now. The only reason she had returned Kapuki's gesture was because she hadn't wanted to leave the three on completely negative terms. While she knew their sisterly relationship would never, ever be mended- it had been shredded apart and abandoned quite a while ago- it was the least she could do, knowing that it was unlikely they'd ever cross paths again... Lashing her tail irritably, the reddish-brown female stared ahead.

[Adofo]

Adofo: No......but......it warms my heart to see two sisters fight...like that.....and still show some manner of respect to each other! ........If only thats how it was for my father and uncle........

[Iri]

Gesturing with her long tail to pause, Chaltuu sat down with a thump and leaned over to lap at the open wounds on her leg, grimacing at the pain of it. Her expression and posture still sent a clear message of "don't try to help me". "Look, I don't want to hear about your father and uncle, all right?" she growled. How many times did she have to tell him she didn't want to hear about his life? As some of her disheveled fur parted while she lapped at it, it revealed smaller, less prominent scars across her leg. They had been mostly received from skirmishes with other rogues and loners and fights with wild dogs and the occasional leopard or cheetah, but her fur usually covered the less noticeable marks, whereas the larger scars she had received from her father were not hidden by her long, ruffled pelt. She couldn't help but feel at least a little bit curious as to what had gone on with Adofo's family, but didn't care quite enough to pry about it.

[Adofo]

Adofo: Okay. ...I'll shut up.
Adofo has a kind heart. But he keeps going back and forth on his opinion about this girl. Every time she gets some small plus about her, a huge negative falls from the sky. And even though he wouldn't want too, he was always ready to kill her if she up and decided to try to kill him.

[Iri]

"I never told you to shut up," Chaltuu muttered to herself irritably. "Although admittedly, that'd be fantastic if you would..." She rose to her paws again and resumed her excursion, lashing her tail every now and again. She decided that on occasion while travelling, she'd rest for a brief few moments before starting up again until her injured leg was fully healed. As much as she hated stopping and buying Dhakiya's murderer more time to keep running, avoiding the lioness who so wanted to end their life, she knew if she forced herself to keep moving without stopping at all, she would end up collapsing and not being able to get up, and she wouldn't be able to handle that. She kneaded her claws against the soil beneath her restlessly, wanting to be able to break into a sprint but knowing she wasn't able to. Driven by hatred and anger, she kept going, picking up her pace gradually.

Adofo was really starting to worry about his pride. By now, they must have been in a panic with him being missing. But at the same time he was glad that Chaltuu managed to go surprisingly fast with her wound

[Iri]

"How far away is your pride? Just guess, your answer doesn't have to be exact," Chaltuu inquired brusquely, still limping along casually. She hoped her wound would heal quickly- even though this was a ridiculous wish, deep down she hoped that maybe, just maybe, her leg wasn't actually broken, perhaps just sprained or badly bruised? But considering she had to suppress an agonized screech every time she finally had to put pressure on her fourth limb before hastily lifting it back up again, that most likely was not the case. Maybe if once they stopped she found something to hold her leg in place with, she would cope with the injury better, but doubted she would be able to secure it in place. Scowling harshly, she kept moving forward. This wasn't about her and her own physical suffering, it was about avenging Dhakiya's death.

Adofo: I'd say.....at least a few more days. No more than five

"Aaargh," Chaltuu growled in frustration, letting her head hang low in blatant anger- not at Adofo, but at the fact that it would take at least two or three days to reach his home. And considering she was slowing them both down with her injury, that would make the journey even longer. "How long do you think it'll take for this blasted leg to heal?" She knew deep down it would take over five days, but with her impatience and desire to locate Dhakiya's killer, that was much too long... Perhaps if she could find something to secure her leg and make the excursion to "Pride Rock" much less anguished and slow, it would be easier. If only she could run... Her thoughts were distracted as she heard her stomach rumbling slightly and felt as if her belly was hollow. The bird eggs from the previous night had not been enough to satisfy her appetite.

Adofo: .....Well....without treatment or herbs......two maybe three.....weeks.
