[Fang]

Max jumped ahead and started to wrestle with a tree branch. "Maybe!" She said bitting the banch.

[Tanabi]

"Have you seen any prides when you came here?" Zill wondered.

[Fang]

Max stopped playing around with her stick and padded up next to him "No, only one...but they drove me out. But that's when I was a cub. I was making friends with this mangie looking lion named Nuka I think." Max said.

[Tanabi]

"Nuka huh?" What was he like?" Zill asked.

[Fang]

Max laughed "He was kind of like me, he liked dirt, but he constantly talked about how his mother hated him, and his father died...it was sad. When I was told to leave he almost came with me but his mother wouldn't let him...HEY! I know! If we go near there lets see if he wants to help us!" She said excitedly. "He was my only other friend besides you that is."

"That sounds like a great idea! we could use some help, hey maybe some of the others will help us too. If they changed that is.." Zill excidedly said, his ears perked up from the thought.m "Which way do we go?"

[Fang]

Max looked around and sniffed the air, the scent of lions hit her.
"I think..." She stopped "Yes! This is were I use to stay! I bet the town is close to it too! Let's go see some of those lions first then go to the town." She said and started to run exciedly towards the scent.

[Tanabi]

Zill was surprised how close the pride was to the city, but wasn't about to ask questions. "I hope they'll help us." he with Max ran, hoping.

[Fang]

Maxes smile faded as she relized that the area was empty. She stopped and looked around, she felt a lump form in her throat as she smelled a slight tang of blood. She tore down to wear her and Nuka use to play, a small grass area but the grass was all dead.
"Nuka?" She called, She looked over to Zill and fear clouded her eyes.

The look on Maxes face took all the hope out of him, the smell of death was in the air, but he had to keep their spirits high. "come on, maybe we'll find someone up ahead." Zill started walking, trying to find some form of life.
