Vah blushed a little when Kiara reached up to lick his muzzle but he quickly replied with a passionate kiss on her lips, holding it for a relatively long time. He smiled softly after slowly breaking the kiss and looked straight into her eyes. "As long as you're with me, I'm always happy. How I acted yesterday...I want to believe it never happened. I never want to remember that." Vah sighed to himself and glanced away from his mate for a few seconds before turning back again. "Without you I'm nothing at all." Vah lowered his head and kissed Kiara once more, closing his eyes as he did so. After a while he lifted his head, breaking the second kiss and then stepped to the side of the lioness he had pinned, letting her back up.

Kiara began purring and closed her eyes as Vah's muzzle contacted hers. After he broke the first kiss and spoke, she wanted to say something to try and change his mind for the better but it was then when Vah kissed her again. Kiara always felt like she was walking on air whenever Vah and her were this close to eachother, and she really liked that feeling. After Vah broke their second kiss, Kiara finally got to her feet before looking at him, "So where are we going to today?" she asked and gently nuzzled his mane.

Vah looked down at Kiara and smiled. He honestly had no idea as to how the lioness had such a large impact on his life so quickly. He wasn't complaining, though, as that impact she had was changing his life for the better. Being affectionate was something that Vah had never thought he would need to be while he was a rogue but around Kiara, Vah's caring and loving side had emerged out of the darkness.

 He turned his attention back to his mate's question and then looked up at the near cloudless blue sky. Really, Vah hadn't explored that much as he didn't feel the need to do so when he was living on his own. Plus, he wasn't the exploring type. Well, not until Kiara entered his life. Vah decided that they could both go and explore somewhere neither of them had been to before. If Kiara wanted to, that was. "Well...I was thinking that we could both go somewhere even I haven't been to before. Don't worry, we won't get lost; we won't go that far." Vah told her in a reassuring and comforting tone of voice.

Kiara smiled at the idea on exploring a place neither of them had ever been to. "Sounds like a good idea." she said, trying to think of what direction they should take. She looked at him, "I don't mind getting lost..." she said and gently nuzzled him, "As long as I'm with you..." she carried on nuzzling him for a few more seconds before pulling away, "So which way do you think we should go?" she thought, her usual excitement of getting familliar with the place coming to her.

Vah felt a very fluttery sensation pass through his body at Kiara's words and licked her cheek. He slowly brought his attention back to the matter of where they should go next. Obviously it didn't matter which way they went so Vah quickly gestured towards the waterhole. "I think this way will do." Vah said nonchalantly. This was partly so they could both get a drink of water before they left and also because he at least knew that if they went in that direction, it would lead to somewhere they could actually explore and not a cliff or a river or something else that would block them off. Vah slowly began walking towards the waterhole, waiting for Kiara to follow him. "We should get a drink before we go."

Kiara smiled, "Okay." she decided to not push Vah into the waterhole or anything childish this time though. She wanted more to get to see more of the place she was probably going to spend her life with Vah at. She couldn't wait to hit the road, maybe they would find something interesting or romantic on the way. She pushed the expectations aside and walked alongside her mate. Once they reached the waterhole, Kiara drank untill filling for her thirst, before sitting down and waiting for Vah to finish.

Vah strolled happily with Kiara down to the waterhole, eagerly anticipating the next few hours. They would probably spend a lot more time than that exploring together, though, and Vah very much hoped that this was true; he hoped that they would both spend a long time out in the unknown, no matter what happened. Actually, thinking about the risks made Vah even more excited but he also felt trepidation beginning to creep into his mind. He wouldn't let that stop him doing what he wanted, though. Besides, if they did find something dangerous it would make it a lot more fun. Well, to Vah at least. He wasn't entirely sure about Kiara. 

Once the two of them arrived at the waterhole, Vah crouched down next to Kiara and started lapping up the water. He glanced towards his mate as he was drinking and noticed that they were both drinking almost in sync with each other. He tore his eyes away from the beautiful lioness when she stopped drinking and sat down patiently, waiting for Vah to finish. He stopped drinking a few seconds after Kiara and bounded a couple of metres ahead of her, gesturing for her to follow him. "Lets get going, shall we?" he asked rhetorically, meaning it more as a statement rather than a question.

Kiara continued sitting silently as she waited for Vah to finish, a smile spreading across her muzzle as she looked at him drink. She couldn't stop the feelings she had whenever she was next to him and it was silence all around them. She felt happy whenever she looked at him and also lucky. She was lucky that she was found before she died or something worse, but the main reason of her feelings of luck was that it was Vah who found her, and not anybody else who would have just taken advantage of her or worse. She smiled once Vah was finished, "Lead on my strong and handsome lion." she said with a giggle and followed him.

Vah stood a few metres away from Kiara, patiently awaiting her presence by his side. His gaze didn't divert from the lioness' sleek, angelic body as he continued to wait. Love was such an amazing feeling. Vah still wasn't completely used to it, but he was enjoying it and getting along with it absolutely fine. The only thing that mattered was that he was here with the love of his life. The life that he had been wasting alone for the past few years of his life..

.Vah was abruptly snapped out of these thoughts by Kiara's words, and he immediately blushed uncontrollably, tearing his vision away from her and down towards the ground. It took him a good few seconds to look at Kiara again, still blushing from her earlier compliment, an embarrassed smile present upon his face. "Aw geez, Kiara, you know I don't react well to compliments." Vah responded in a playful an embarrassed tone. It wasn't that Vah didn't like being given compliments, it was just he really didn't enjoy being embarrassed in front of Kiara. He slowly turned and walked next to his mate, giving her a small, playful push, pretending to be annoyed by her compliment.

Kiara found herself giggling as she noticed the rather embarrassed look on her mate's face. She was definitely going to carry on with the compliments, since Vah looked even cuter when he carried such an expression. "Oh come on..." she said, creating an eye contact, "We both know it's true..." she again giggled. She just couldn't resist an oppertunity to stare into Vah's amazing eyes and talk with a seductive tone like the one she had just used. Her mate's reactions were simply too adorable for her to hold back.
