Vah looked at Kiara and nodded slightly, then looked back at the herd of Wildebeest. "Alright then...just you watch this." he told her, smirking and keeping his voice as quiet as possible, yet loud enough for Kiara to hear him. He began taking deep, quiet breaths and dropped as low as possible in the long grass to make sure he wouldn't get seen until he struck. He slowly started stalking the herd, immeadiately pinpointing one of the weaker ones of the herd. Vah averted his attention to that one Wildebeest near the back of the herd, but continued to check what the rest of the herd were doing in his peripheral vision.
Vah took his time to get into the correct position to attack, as he really didn't want to get it wrong. There were many reasons for this, one of them being that one of these Wildebeest's could easily impale him with their horns. Not something he wanted. As he got ever closer, he slowed down even more, checking where every single paw was being placed, careful not to knock a stone with his hind leg or something of the sort. He stopped exactly where he was, which was about 10m away from the targeted Wildebeest, to have one last look at whathe would be doing. 'Okay, just go for the neck, as usual, and everything will fall into place.' he thought to himself, quietly confident of his abilities. 'Aaand....now!' On that last word, he slowly began picking up the pace and pounced on the unsuspecting target, who loked around, noticing Vah much too late for it to do anything.
Vah grappled onto the back of the Wildebeest, which was now charging away, with his claws that had punctured deep into the Wildebeest's skin, drawing blood. He then, almost immeadiately after pouncing onto the Wildebeest, opened his jaws and bit down as hard as he possibly could onto the neck of the Wildebeest, ripping out part of it, causing it to fall to the ground helplessly. As it was thrashing around, Vah was caught on the cheek by one of its horns, leaving a gash down the side of his cheek which started to bleed slightly, causing him to wince in pain, but not stopping him from pinning the Wildebeest down and waiting for it to die. Eventually, after about a minute of keeping it pinned down, it bled to death, and Vah released his tight grip on it. He got off of the Wildebeest and softly put a paw onto the gash that he had recieved, then pulled his paw back and lookedat it, clearly seeing a small covering of blood on his paw. Vah looked over at Kiara's position and motioned for her to come to where he was standing.
