Nala was at Simba's side as she checked Chaka for marks and she stepped over to Kopa and pulled him close. "Its okay dear...everything is fine." she said reassuringly. Nala's blue eyes looked up at Simba and she shook her muzzle in disapproval, "Why dont we go swimming down by the watering hole. she said with a grin. She looked over at Dyanna, "Go get Kiara dear.." she ordered before checking Kopa to make sure he was okay.


Dyanna stepped back a few inches away from Chaka and Kopa and her ears were flattened back, she looked to Nala and nodded. Her bright blue eyes still stared at Chaka before turning and running back into the den. "Kiara...Kiara...Nala said we are going to the watering hole. You have to come.." she said softly. She stepped beside her best friend and looked up at Sarafina. Dyanna rubbed her head off Sarafina's and sighed, she knew what happened when old age came, a frown crossing her muzzle.

Sarafina smiled at Kiara, "Go Kiara, do as your mother says. I promise, You will get to say goodbye." she spoke softly. Eyeing Dyanna Sarafina smiled at her, "Run along girls...go on now." she said nudging them forward with her muzzle.

Kiara frowned, "As long as you promised." She licked her grandmother cheek before nuzzling her neck. "If I don't get a chance to say good bye, here it is." She paused, "Nana, you've always been there for me. Looking out for my family when we needed it." Breathing in again, she stopped. "Don't die on me, I already lost Papa 'Fasa." Her voice trailed off, leaving tears streaming down her face.

Kiara licked Sarafina's face again, then nuzzled her neck. "That's if I don't get to say Good Bye, if I do. There will be more." She turned, "Good bye, Nana "Rafi." She whispered loud enough for everyone to hear.

At the same moment, Simba looked at his sons. "I think now is a good time for you to say goodbye to your grandmother as well," he said. He then went over to Kiara and pulled her close. "Don't be sad, honey. She goes to dwell in the realm of the great kings and queens," he said in a gentle tone.

"Goodbye?" Kopa whispered, feeling the tears gathering in his eyes already. He had already experienced a goodbye of the sort before, sitting beside Mufasa's death bed.

Simba could sense his son and heir's sadness. "Don't worry, Kopa. She's lived a long life, and the sun is now setting on her time here," he stated.

Kopa sniffed, slightly ashamed of himself. He had always been a crybaby, upset over the tiniest things. "Are they gonna go live with Papa 'Fasa?" Kopa asked, looking up at Simba.

Simba nodded. "Yes, Kopa. She will be in the realm of the great kings and queens of the past," he stated.

Kopa looked thoughtful, albeit depressed. "Will we see them again when we go to live with the Great Kings and Queens?"

Simba nodded. "Yes, but only if you behave yourself in this life and obey the laws set down by the great kings and queens. Otherwise, you will not enter their realm. That was what happened to Scar," he said.

Kiara frowned, "But shouldn't everyone be treated equally?" She asked, knowing the situation with Papa 'Fasa and Great-Uncle Scar. "Even if they did make some mistakes." She added.
