Penda didnt look convinced that the cub was ok "well i will look after him for tonight" she said as she padded over and lay herself down beside the cub, she pulled him close to her being careful not to hurt his wounds "you can stay with me honey" she said as she licked him over his head

Mosi realaxed as the lioness comforted and he quickly fell back asleep

Almasi giggled as she got to her paws, she climbed up onto Rahina and got a hold of her ear with her forepaws, she then leaned in and whispered lightly "why does Kopa not know about the cub" she said so that only Rahina could hear, Almasi knew what a female looked like when baring a cub as her mother was early in pregnancy when she had died, Almasi looked to Rahina as a mother now even though she had known her only a short time, it may have been that Rahina shared the same colouring and rougish look as her mother and also the fact that her mother had a few large scars also, but more so her personality, she seemed hard on the outside but inside she was loving and cared about alot more than she let on, Almasi knew this about Rahina as she had taken her in when she had no were to go.

Kivuli listened to Simba's words closely, and nodded in approval. Simba then went over to talk with Mila. Kivuli did not move. Instead he raised his head to the sky and looked to the stars. It had been ages since he did that. One night years ago. Back when Kivuli was still just a cub and has mother lived. There was a break in the clouds that covered the lands in Scars reign. Kivuli's mother, Usafi, took him to the top of priderock to take a closer. She told Kivuli the great kings tale and how they lived up there. Kivuli himself wanted to be one of those kings as cub

As the red eyed eye gazed up, his thoughts became more focussed Usafi Mother, I wish you were still with me now looking at these stars. Though knowing you, your most likely up there with the kings watching over me. Ill never forget what Scar did to you. Its such a bad memory, that its impossible to forget. But for all this bad, there is good. The memories of you still burn within me and drive me forward. Take care mother. I only wish you were here A gently breeze then blew past. As it reached Kivuli, it seemed to surround him, almost protecting him. Kivuli smiled. Even if that was just a gust of wind, he believed it was Usafi, still caring for her son

Kivuli's little moment was disturbed as Mila came over to him. She asked him what he talked to Simba about. Kivuli just replied Just giving you father some extra warning about rouges. I dont want him or your mother hurt. Then I got a lecture about making sure you stay out of trouble Kivuli grinned and chuckled to himself

Mila listened to Kivuli's words and nodded, but was taken aback when Kivuli said that Mila needed to be watched over.

"Make sure I stay out of what now?" The lioness asked, with a snotty tone. She grinned at Kivuli with a sassy smile and pushed the lion to the ground suddenly. After Kivuli figured out what was happening, Mila chuckled at the dazed lion. "Are you sure I'm not supposed to be watching you?" She asked with an innocent tone.

Mila chuckled a bit more. She was becoming a lot more sassy around this specific lion. The reason for it? She had no clue. All she knew was that she enjoyed acting the way she did. Change was.... nice.

Kivuli was so busy laughing away he didnt her Mila's first question, but she soon got his attention when Kivuli was lying in the grass and her eyes glared down at him. Hearing her response Kivuli replied Maybe we should just look out for each other, just incase He then winked at her and reached up to kiss her again.

As the young pair locked muzzles Mila's body collapsed on top of Kivuli's. The two were locked together in what seemed like eternity. After a while Kivuli broke off the kiss and ran his paw down Mila's side Would you like to come back to my den? He asked, and gave Mila another kiss for good measure

"Well..." Rahina was a bit suprised by the sudden question but she got herself together pretty quick.

"... there was not the situation I could tell him yet. Until I find the right time it is a secret, okay?" she whispered to Almasi and nuzzled her.

Almasi smiled and then returned Rahina's nuzzle "why not tell him now" she whispered as she looked over to Kopa who was gaurding the den "i think he will be upset if you dont tell him, he is the daddy, and he will be a good daddy and you will be a good mummy, Trust me" she whispered once more before lying down again beside Rahina

Watching as Penda made her way over to Mosi’s side and seeing that the youngster didn’t have any objections with her presence, both Simba and Nala nodded in unison as the king replied in a casual tone.

”As you wish Penda. I’m sure you’ll look after him just fine, although I believe that another one of our lionesses will be escorting him home tomorrow, so please be aware of that.”

Letting out a tired yawn, Simba gave a quick glance over to his mate before turning his focus back to Penda and speaking quietly to her once again.

”Well, it’s late and both Nala and myself have to be getting up early, so I think we’re going to call it a night.”

Giving a nod as if to confirm her mate’s statement, both Nala and Simba made their way to their typical sleeping pelt within the main den before lovingly entangling themselves in each other’s embrace, speaking softly amongst themselves as they turned in for the night.

Perhaps it was fortunate that Kopa’s attention was distracted by Kivuli and Mila, as the unknowing male failed to overhear what Almasi and Rahina were discussing together not too far from where he was at. Taking his guard duties seriously however, Kopa’s attention remained fixated upon the two felines near the waterhole as his tail swayed thoughtfully behind him within the small den. Ever since their last encounter with Jelani, Kopa never took any chances with his mate’s safety and even though the young lioness didn’t pose any threat to himself or his mate’s wellbeing, the grey furred male next to her most certainly could, although the pair seemed way too lost in their own business to even pose any sort of threat whatsoever, but Kopa wouldn’t let his guard down even if this fact was true.

Rahina thought about the words of Almasi. Was it really the right time... but she had decided to do it when she was alone with Kopa. Even though her thoughts about how he would take the news changed during the last hours and she was sure he would not make a scene she would prefer to tell him this exciting news in private.

"Well.... you see I know him for some time now and I would prefer to... let's say tell him about it under four eyes. Nothing against you sweetie but it is a rather important thing for me after all we went true to tell him and have some private time with him at the time... and you know this is why it is not the right time at the moment...." Rahina hoped Almasi would understand why she did not want to tell Kopa right now and that she meant no offense against the cub.
"Also I am too tired to have a long discussion with Kopa now. Aren't you tired as well?" Rahina lifted one eye brow and observed Almasi with her black orbs while a big yawn made her open her muzzle wide. After the yawn she smiled at Almasi and curled around her so that Almasi was warm and safe. As Kopa stood guard and she knew that he would be attentive she nuzzled Almasi one last time and places her own head on her paws with eyes closed her ear still faced to the cub to hear her answer of her question.

Kovu bent close over Taraji with Kiara to make out what Taraji was saying. The poor thing had clearly had a nasty nightmare. Kovu nodded with Kiara as she reassured the little cub. It was tough to know how to comfort a scared little cub against something so insubstantial. He then moved in to add his own two cents.

"Sounds like that was a good dream then Taraji." He said gently "But you've got to take the bad with the good. But don't worry, in Pride Rock you're safe. Nobody can hurt you here."

He hesitated before continuing, but then decided that with an answer he might be able to give more reassuring help.

"Did you know who the lions in your bad dream were little one?"

"Right." Vitani said, coming back to the present. She was still feeling a little bit agitated. She wanted to get up and do something, but couldn't think of anything that would help. Vitani was starting to get very frustrated by the lack of opportunities for taking any real, visceral action around here. She could only hope that taking leadership of the hunting party for a little while would help her in that respect. It had actually been for that reason that she had asked Simba about increasing her role in the hunting area only a few days earlier. It was clear though that Santiago was the wrong person to talk about her private frustrations with, especially frustrations that didn't actually have any concrete reason for existing in the first place.

"So I hope you're not too tired." Vitani said in a determined effort to take her mind off problems that she could do nothing about. "I don't know how nasty or exhausting a life you lead before you wandered into the pridelands, and we've been keeping you tied up with these things all day."

Penda smiled to Simba "well i will make sure he is ok until then" she replied as she returned the nod to say goodnight, she watched as Simba and Nala snuggled up and fell asleep and she looked down to Mosi "well its just you and me now little one" she said as she nuzzled the small lion, she then lay her head on the ground and fell into a rather light sleep so as that she would hear Mosi if he awoke

Almasi listened to Rahina's reply "ok then but will you tell him tomorrow, im not very good at keeping secrets so i will keep away from Kopa tomorrow untill you tell me its ok" she laughed as she nuzzled Rahina and started to drift off to sleep
