Simba was happy to see his sons eager to practice. "All right, we'll head out as soon as Mom and Kiara are up," he said.

Nala's ears twitched at the commotion from her sons and mate, she opened her blue eyes a moment to watch them. Smiling she lifted her head and gave Kopa and Chaka a lick on their cheeks. "Good morning my loves." she cooed softly. Noticing the boys manes she smiled, "Getting your manes a I see." she said with a smile. Standing to her paws she nuzzled the sleeping Kiara softly, "Come on dear...wake up." she said softly.


Sarafina had woken up and she felt her old body ache a frown crossed her face, she eyed the sleeping Dyanna. "Nala...Nala...come here.." she called to her daughter. " Nala...take Dyanna with you. I'm in alot of pain, im afraid i wont be around much longer.." she said softly.

Nala nuzzled her mother's neck softly, "Oh mom...maybe your just getting sore. Well you rest, ill grab Dyanna." she said softly. She leaned over her mother's body and grabbed the growing Dyanna by her scruff. She set Dyanna down next to Kopa and Chaka, she smiled at the pretty cub. "I'm watching you today Dyanna..." she said with a smile. Nala's blue eyes seemed sad as she looked at Simba then back to her own mother.

Dyanna nodded to Nala but her bright blue eyes gazed at the old Sarafina, she frowned. Looking to Chaka and Kopa she smiled slightly, "What are we doing today?" she asked curiously looking at the Princes.


Monstro woke up early and stepped out of the den, the morning light reflected off of his large black mane. He eyed the Pride lands every morning, his eyes flickered to the den as he noticed Kovu stirring. He smiled at Kovu's fast growing mane, "Come here Kovu, I have a task for you." he said patting the ground next to him.

Simba smiled at Nala and went over and licked her. "How did you sleep?" he asked.

"Hi Mom!" Kopa greeted, quickly nuzzling her under her muzzle before bouncing around some more. "Grandma, what's wrong?' he asked Sarafina curiosly.

Shujaa was now quite old as well. The former rogue looked at his grandson. "It's called old age, Kopa. It happens to everyone," he said.

Kopa was quiet for a few moments, blinking. "But age makes you stronger, not tired," he protested. "Like I'm stronger now than when I was born."

Shujaa chuckled and maintained eye contact with his grandson. "Don't worry, Kopa. You still have a very long time before you get old," he said.

Chaka giggled a bit at Kopa's reaction. "We got a long way big bro, don't worry." Looking back at his father with an eager expression, he quickly asked, "Everyone's up! Can we go now? Pleease?"

Kopa turned around and bounded over to his family, shouting a quick "Bye Grandma, bye Grandpa! Love you!" over his shoulder.
