Chaka awoke with a nice stretching of his front paws. He opened his lavender eyes looked up at his father. "Ugh, good morning Dad." Chaka groaned groggily. He stood up and noticed a bit of darker fur was starting to emerge from his chest.

Simba smiled at his son. "How did you sleep, Chaka?" he asked as he awaited the full awakening of the rest of his family.

He smiled. "It was all right, but I did lose some rest when Kiara yelled out something," Chaka said elbowing his still sleeping sister.

Simba chuckled and was about to respond when he noticed the new hair on Chaka's chest. "Son, your mane is starting to grow in," he said.

[Nitro]

Kopa poked his head up, sleepily looking around. He playfully stuck his tongue out at Chaka and jumped over his mother and sister, shaking his fur out when he landed. There was no red fur on his chest, but the tuft on his head had started to expand backwards.

He looked down at his chest again and sighed. "Yeah I guess so." Chaka cocked his head back with suprise when his brother woke up with a jumpy start. "Heh, good morning Kopa."

The young prince stretched his back legs and yawned. "Morning!"

"So Dad, what do have on the list for today?" he said elated and with a grin on his muzzle. He was eager to know what excited things they would do. If they wouldn't do anything, Chaka would find fun himself.

Kopa cocked his head, peering up at their father in curiosity. "Fighting lessons?" he asked hopefully.

Simba looked at both of his sons. "Sure, why not? You'll need those skills in the future," he told them.
