Simba sighed. "Oh Nala, I have so much on my mind. First and foremost is Kopa. The next thing is Vitani. I can't wait to see her again. I wonder if she accepted the Nero prince as her new mate," he said.

Nala smiled, "I'm sure she will find her way home to visit soon. I miss Mheetu dearly, I wonder where he is..." she said softly looking out of the den. She gazed down at her small cubs sleeping and sighed, "Kopa is going to be fine and hes very smart. The fact that he saw Mohatu in his dream should be a blessing...Mohatu was only around for a small time when we were cubs. Remember....?"

Simba thought for a long moment. "I really don't remember Mohatu. All I remember is that he was one of the greatest kings of all and that his mother was one of only a few lionesses to be a princess by blood rather than marriage," he said. His mind then turned to Mheetu. "I still remember when Mheetu was a cub and always tagging along with me," he said.

Kiara awoke from her parents talking, "Can you keep it down? I'm trying to sleep." She grumbled, closing her eyes again and falling back to sleep.

Simba chuckled. "I'm sorry, Kiara. It's just that this is an important moment. With any hope, Aunt Vitani and Uncle Mheetu will be back soon," he said.

Kiara shot-up again, "WHAT?! REALLY?" She yelled, hopefully not waking her two brothers. Blushing, she looked back up at her mother and father with hopeful eyes.

Nala smiled and nuzzled Kiara softly, "Shh...go back to sleep honey. We hope they come visit us very soon." she whispered. Nala nuzzled Simba's neck and smiled, "Lets get some sleep, we can talk more tomorrow." she added resting her head on her paws by Kiara's head.

Simba smiled and then fell back asleep, his mind thinking of pleasant days with Nala and Vitani when they were younger, back before all of the trouble with the Outlanders had begun. A smile came to his face as he slept.

Kopa batted at Kiara with a growing paw "wiet sis," he mumbled, words muffled by his father's fur.

Finally, morning came. Simba awoke and continued to watch his mate and their cubs sleep. Finally, everyone began to stir. "Good morning, my family," he said.
