@Nakisisa: Neobi smiled and he watched the two play, closing his eyes for a nap. Granted, it was harder to sleep over the laughs and giggles.
"You bet'cha" she giggled, rolling him over onto his back and pinning him down. She had learned that trick from when Adeola was almost an adult, and Malaika was still a little cub. The younger gold lioness remembered so well how Adeola and her used to have so much fun when they were kids, and how they hung out all the time. Now, Adeola was serious and she had imprinted into her mind that if she was going to be future leader, play could never mix with responsibility.

Adeola layed down on the rock near the water and looked over the sky, seeing it was getting darker. Her hazel orbs were focused on the red, orange, and yellow sky with the sky slowly falling to sleep to let the moon wake up. "Might as well go back now" she thought aloud. She got to her fours, and started walking back. She was full aware that Malaika and her new 'mate' must still be playing, but to avoid her father coming down any harder on her, she made her way back speedily and making sure she kept her temper simmering.
