Kulia coughed up water and clutched at the ground with her claws. "Where is Uchungu?" she rasped.

[Adofo]

Bali: .....She's gone.

[Iri]

Kulia forced herself up and galloped over to Uchungu, who was laying dead on a rock. "No, Mother.. don't leave me... I'm sorry I was never the daughter I could have been. I'm so, so sorry..." She wept on her mother's body.

[I think Bali should be sort of confused about why Kulia is so grief-stricken.]

[Adofo]

Bali: ......why are you sad?

[Iri]

"My mother is dead," Kulia wept.

[Adofo]

Bali: ......i was only protecting you....

[Iri]

"I'm not blaming you," Kulia assured him. "I'm not... I know she was cruel.. but she was still my mother." She nuzzled her mother's body and then nuzzled Bali. "Let's... head home now."

[Adofo]

Bali: ......are the cubs okay?

[Iri]

"I think they're fine, Bali," Kulia said softly, nuzzling her mate affectionately.
Weeks later, Kulia moaned and collapsed on the ground.
"The cubs are coming!" Arida and Imithi announced.

[Adofo]

Bali stayed close.
Bali: Its okay! Just keep your eyes focused on me!
