Fadhili was on the verge of tears, "Not everything is about strength! He's nice and I love him! You can't just decide about my life when you feel like it!" Marini was quite horrified. His sister was on the verge of tears, but that didn't make any difference on him.

Mufalfa laughed. "No but I can decide to make it miserable." He laughed. Kujasuri started to get angry at Mufalfa and spoke up. "You leave her alone!" Once he saw Mufalfa's face he said, "I mean uh please." Mufalfa stopped and just walked away. Mzuri looked at Marini liked nothing happened. "Uh can I talk to you?"

Even though Mufalfa left, Fadhili lay down and started crying, she feared that her brother was never going to let her and Kuja be together. Marini wanted to try comfort her, but she figured that this was her brother's job. Instead she looked at the little cub and smiled, "Of course."

Kujasiri saw Fadhili crying. "Fali don't cry. It's alright. I'll never let him hurt you. Don't worry about me I can take whatever verbal abuse he gives me." Kujasiri felt ashamed that he was crying before. "Your brother was right about one thing. I need to start acting like a real lion." Mzuri said, "I didn't want Dakari to see me like this but I really miss my parents. I mean," she saw Marini's paws and felt like she needed them for comfort, "I miss them."

Fadhili couldn't stop crying. She was really afraid that her brother will eventually hurt him "He wont hurt me. I'm afraid he'll hurt you." she said, her tone shaky. Marini could understand how the cub was feeling. "It's okay to feel like this." she said holding the little cub close, "Our mother and father died a while ago. I know it's wierd for you to hear the same about someone older but we also miss them alot. You just have to not let it effect your life too badly."

Kujasiri said, "Don't worry about it Fali. Just don't worry about it okay? I can take whatever abuse he gives me." Mzuri smiled as Marini held her close and snuggled up to her, reminded of her mother doing the same thing. She felt like she could fall asleep and said, "I love you Mother..." obviously having a flashback to what life was like before. Mufalfa returned however but he avoided Kujasiri and instead went to Marini and the cub. "Can you please put the runt down?! The cub is already pointless enough!" Mzuri got her feelings hurt and she ran over to Dakari, crying.

Fadhili finally calmed down and sat back up, managing a slight smile at Kujasiri. Marini smiled down at the cub, "I'm not your mother Mzuri, but..." it was then when Mufalfa came back. As the cub left crying she glared at Mufasa, "Why did you do that?" Dakari suddenly saw his friend crying and went over to her, "What happened? Did the lioness do anything bad to you?"

Mufalfa glared at her. "The cub deserved it. Feelings like that serve no one any purpose out in this harsh land. I thought you would know that. I guess that is why it takes a lion to lead, a lioness is weak." Mzuri looked at Dakari and felt ashamed that she was showing him tears. She wiped her eyes and looked at him, "No it was that mean lion." She tried to put on a smile. "But I am alright Dakari. What do you wanna do?"

Marini, still upset, glared at him once more, "Would you be behaving like that if she was your cub?" inside she thought, 'Who am I kidding, no lioness would ever have you.' Dakari hoped he could cheer his friend up, "Whatever you want."

Mufalfa laughed and said, "Indeed I would! I would do that to any cub!" Kujasiri said to Fadhili. "Why are my sister and your brother always fighting?" Mzuri said, "Well I don't know. What do you want to do Dakari?" She couldn't think of anything.
