Reunion [PRIVATE: TheLastLion and Abyssal_S]

[TheLastLion]

Kayla slowly approaches Flash.

[Stormy]

Flash once again hears Kayla approaching.

[TheLastLion]

"So..." She says hesitantly.

[Stormy]

Flash lifts his head and looks at Kayla.

[TheLastLion]

"I guess I should start with a mandatory 'I'm sorry'."

[Stormy]

Flash slowly stands and faces Kayla, not quite sure what to say, IF he should say anything.

[TheLastLion]

"I know it's perfunctory, but it couldn't hurt."

[Stormy]

“You promised you’d never hurt me again. What happened to that?” Flash asks his breathing already becoming shaky.

[TheLastLion]

"I also promised that I'd make Destiny feel welcome and not feel like pariah." She refutes. "But, that didn't totally justify what I did. It wasn't my intention to do what I did, but I also didn't want Destiny to feel alienated. I never wanted it to become a choice between you and her because no matter what choice I made, I would have been letting one of you down." She bows her head. "I guess my point from all this is that adults are fallible, too."

[Stormy]

"It's going to be a while.. both me accepting what happened yesterday and me going back to Destiny. Everything I felt that was worked for was lost yesterday."
