A Change of Plans [PRIVATE: AC & The Whistlerify]

Busara felt like he was sleeping when his mate spoke, but he understood what she said and looked at her, thinking on what she said. He hated to admit it, but niether he or Kali amanaged to come up with a good idea of what to do with the training, and hopefully one of the adolesents or Sarabi have. "Yeah, we probably should. While we're doing we can check on Tanga and Simba as well." he said, and got up. He didn't want to seem careless, but he wasn't worried about Tanga one bit. He was sure that Marin had convinced him to come back by now, or in case they weren't back; convinced him to come back later. What did worry him was Sarabi's recent behaviour about Tanga.

Kali smiled, before getting up and heading towards the ravine that housed the cave system, thinking on the way there...wondering what was happening with the two adolescent males, and how the others were treating Tanga...

----------

Nala looked up when she spotted movement out of the corner of her eye, and noticed Kali and Busara heading towards their cave. "Hmm...you think we should go see what they're up to?" she asked, turning to face Uhuru as she spoke.

Busara was silent during their walk. He looked around, trying to find any signs of either Tanga or Marini, though he couldn't see hem anywhere.

----

Uhuru looked at Nala a little confused at first, but when she caught sight of her parents she got up. Like always after not seeing her parents for a while, excitement began to fill her and she as she ran to gret them, answering Nala's question without even noticing

Kali grinned as she noticed Uhuru coming their way, as usual excited to see her parents again. "Hey, sweetie!" she called. "You do okay this afternoon so far?" The mother's happy attitude faded when she saw Nala walking behind her daughter, although the anger she had shown when Tanga had run off this morning seemed to be gone.

"Oh...hi, Nala," she said, forcing herself to be polite despite her misgivings about Nala's attitude. She had already made that mistake once, with Tanga...she was not about to do it twice.

----------

Nala looked up as Kali greeted her. She could hear the forced politeness in her voice, but decided that, with her rather cold treatment of the lioness' son, that she could not really blame her. "Hi, Kali, Busara," she replied, looking to the father. "You going to see Simba?" she asked.

Uhuru smiled at her mother, before answering her question by jumping and climbing onto Busara's head and lying herself down in his mane as always.

=----

Busara also grinned at his daughter's energetoc approach and nudge her upwards with his nose as she attemped to climb onto his head like she usually did. He wasn't paying attention to the conversation between him, but he managed to hear Nala's question. "Hllo there Nala." he said, not moving so Uhuru would have enough time to settle herself in his mane. He wondered whether he should tell Nala tha they were also going to check on Tanga, but since she seemed less angry han before, he ecided that he should. "Yes, and Tanga."

Nala nodded at this, before coming to a quick decision, based on her long thinking session during her sunbathing session with Uhuru. "I'll come with you. Last I saw, Tanga was with Simba...and I...I want to apologise to him," she admitted sheepishly, refusing to look at either of Tanga's rediscovered parents. "I did some thinking before, and...I realise that I've been pretty mean today, after Simba got hurt."

Busara smiled at Nala, despite the fact that she wasn't looking at either him or Kali. He was still slightly concerned about Sarabi though... Since she took off angrilly to have some time alone he hadn't seen her. An since she was SImba's mother, she was probably going to have a harder time forgiving Tanga. He decided to push those thoughts aside as he continued to walk towards the ave system without saying anything else to any of them

----

Uhuru was glad at Nala's desicion. She believe that the lioness would forgive Tanga eventually, but the soone she did the better.

Kali also gave Nala a satisfied nod. "I'm glad, Nala. I don't blame you for being mad, I know how much you care for Simba...but some of us can have a hard time seeing our own mistakes, and accepting them...I'm glad you've seen yours."

----------

Nala managed a weak smile at Kali, and Busara, too, as they reached the ravine. She was glad they were willing to move on from her behaviour this morning...and she did want to apologise to Tanga. Part of her just hoped that Sarabi would be the same.

As they entered the cave system, the first thing Nala noticed was that it was quiet...way too quiet. Frowning, she jumped ahead of the three others and went straight to the nook she always shared with Simba, finding him alone. "Hey, Simba," she said quietly, moving up and nuzzling his mane as she greeted him. "Are you okay? Where are the others?"

Simba was trying to get some sleep as it's been a while since Nala left, and since what happend between his mother and Sarabi. He was still angry with her, and the way she spoke to him as if Tanga was trying to kill him a moment before she showed up was driving him crazy. He felt like things would never go back to the way they were between him and his fried now Sarabi has developed a highly defensive behaviour about Tanga.

He could hear footsteps all of a sudden. It could have been Tanga, hopefully, but with the way Sarabi acted towards him, it probably wasn't. He hoped that it wasn't Sarabi, he didn't feel like talking to her or seeing her at all right now. But he wasn't surprised when he found out that it was Nala, and now that his attention was settled on her, he didn't hear Kali and Busara coming closer. "Hey Nala." Simba said quietly as well, "Oh... Tanga and Marini left." he said, not knowing whether he should tell her. Since all the nooks were connected in a single tunnel, Sarabi could probably hear their conversation if she was awake

Nala nodded. "Do you know where they went?" she asked, looking behind her as Kali, Busara and Uhuru also entered the nook, giving Simba a simple nod of greeting so that Nala could keep talking. "Kali and Busara want to talk to everyone I think, and...I want a word with Tanga, as well."

----------

Kali spoke up once Nala was done. "Do you know where Sarabi went, too?" she asked, although Simba was saved from responding when the mother herself appeared, having heard the group come in. "I'm here," Sarabi said shortly, still put off by the morning's events. As such, she did not answer about Tanga and Marini's whereabouts.
