[Closed] Before The Beginning

Mara shook her head. "All right, you two, let's go," she said. She then turned to leave.

[Maleficent]

"Okay," Bianca said, tapping Scar with her tail before running after Mara. Scar rolled his eyes and walked next to Shenzi.

The trek to the Elephant Graveyard began. Ramses would periodically sneer at the two lions that would be living with them. "I can't wait until you get older and leave," he said.

[Maleficent]

"Oh yeah?" Bianca glared back despite her earlier fear of him. "What's so bad about us anyways? If anything, we could help you someday...if we choose to."

[KingKovu44]

Ramses snarled. "Since when has your kind ever helped us? We're always fighting for food and water!" he said. Shenzi stepped in. "Just ignore him. He's very aggressive," she said.

[Maleficent]

Bianca nodded and whispered to Shenzi, "I think it's a good thing that you're going to be the next king. Is Ramses...dangerous ever?"

Shenzi shook her head. "He knows his place. All male hyenas are under us females. Even the lowest ranking female is over the highest ranking male," she said.

[Maleficent]

"Really?" Bianca asked in surprise. She grinned and said, "I really like this hierarchy. Too bad I wasn't born a hyena. I would like it here."

Shenzi nodded. "Ramses will be my mate, protect me, and, in the future, give me a pup. If it's a male, pack leadership will go to the next closest female relative," she continued.

[Maleficent]

"Hm..." Bianca mused, giving Ramses a sidelong look. "I don't know if I'd actually want him as a mate...but he looks like a good protector."
