Kapuki woke up hours later from her deep sleep. She tried to get up, then grunted as she fell down. Fortunately Arida had been able to put her leg back in place while she was asleep.
Kapuki roared and tugged at the vines holding her back, only to be yanked back by the one around her neck. She kept struggling and roaring. "I will escape from this!" she shouted furiously.

[Adofo]

Adofo: I see you're awake. And yes, I will untie you if you listen.

[Iri]

Kapuki gasped when she saw him and started tugging at the vines. "Who did this to me?!" she yelled.

[Adofo]

Adofo: Me. Relax you're back at Priderock. But you need to calm down.

[Iri]

"I will not!" Kapuki sniffed the vines. "It was that medic." She struggled harder against the vines.

[Adofo]

Adofo: I told her to do it. If you calm down and let me talk, I'll untie you.

[Iri]

"Speak then," Kapuki grunted, growing tired. She laid down, her claws kneading the ground.

[Adofo]

Adofo: Look...I know you don't like me. And.....I guess I'll have to accept that. But I still love you. I only wanted to protect you...even though you didn't need it. I didn't want him to hurt you because in my heart you're my daughter. And i never want my cubs to suffer. I'd die for you in a second! But...if you want to attack me or run.....I don't blame you.
He unties her.
Adofo: I'm sorry. But from the bottom if my heart, I love you. I'd do anything for you.

Kapuki jumped down Pride Rock, wincing because of her leg, but she galloped with a limping gait away.
"Will she come back?" Shujaa asked.
