"I made the queen aware of your admittedly, justified, distrust of Flash. She says that you're a good judge of character and that if Flash can convince you that he's not evil, then he has her approval, which I agreed with." Kayla takes a pause. "But she also suspected that you might let your personal feelings get in the way of being fair, so she put me in charge of helping you watch him."

[Stormy]

Conal stares at Kayla without any movement or blinking. "Tell me you're joking."

"I'm being serious." Kayla refutes. "Well, okay fine. I insisted that I be the only one to watch Flash instead of you, but she insisted that it be you because I had my own preconceived biases like you." Kayla concedes. "Other than that, I'm being serious. Moreover, the Queen gave me, Jay, and even Sadie a chance to come to her if any of us feel like you're not giving Flash a fair chance or setting him up to fail."

[Stormy]

"Well, she may be the Queen, but she can't force me to like anyone. So if she's making me do this, that's fully on her."

[TheLastLion]

"You liking him is irrelevant, he can help us and we can show him that he doesn't have to be bad."

Conal sighs and buries his face in his paws.

"And as added bonus, we can have him tell us everything he knows about Parker and the enemy Pride." Kayla adds. "You're fine with that, right, buddy?" She looks to Flash.

[Stormy]

Flash gives off one extremely slow nod.

Kayla greets him with a friendly smile. "So, you get potential bragging rights."

“Something I’m not exactly looking for.” Conal goes to leave to get water, purposely stepping on the tail of Flash on the way out causing Flash to yelp out in pain. Sadie grows a bit defensive over this and lets out a light growl.
