Kopa frowned, disappointed his sister had not seen the same logic as him. He pounced on a blade of grass, flattening it under his weight, and got back up, ready to practice again.

Kiara frowned, "So Papa 'Fasa won't be mad?" She asked, drying her tears.

Simba smiled. "No. The great kings and queens are only angered by those who commit true evil, like Scar and Zira," he explained, wondering how he would explain further if she asked.

Nala smiled as she watched Kiara and Kopa try and catch mice, she looked down at Dyanna. "Go ahead Dyanna, try and catch one." she instructed softly nudging the cub forward. Nala then nuzzled Simba's mane and bounded off towards the gazelle she crept low to the ground her belly dragging through the grass. Quietly she made her move, waiting for Sarafina's signal.

Dyanna nodded and hunted down a small mouse, her bright eyes narrowing at her prey. Smoothly she pounced on the mouse and devoured its small body in her own jowls and looked to Simba, "I did it!" she cheered proudly.

Sarafina followed behind Nala and quickly bolted off towards the right to try and spook the gazelle. Quickly letting out a roar she spooked the herd towards Nala and chased down a scruffy looking gazelle for herself and the others. Sinking her claws into the gazelle's tough skin she fell to the ground and dug her fangs into its neck. Feeling it squirm in her grasp she snapped its neck and let it drop, her green eyes gazed up to see how Nala did. Sarafina grabbed her gazelle's leg and dragged it back to Simba and the cubs. "Food!" she yelled with a smile.

Nala quickly got lost in the dust the gazelle kicked up as they bolted away from Sarafina's roar but she was there to catch one off guard. Throwing her body she yanked the gazelle down with her, her claws ripping the skin from the gazelle. Her teeth found there way across the gazelle's juglar and she squeezed tightly causing the blood to drip down her muzzle. Nala enjoyed the chase of hunting and dragged her kill back, dropping it beside her mothers. "That was fun..did you watch kids?" she asked with a smile.

Simba smiled proudly. "You are a great huntress. I couldn't have asked for a better queen to rule at my side," he stated. He nuzzled Nala. "Well, shall we eat?" he asked.

Nala's furry cheeks blushed and she nuzzled Simba back, "Yes, lets." she whispered. She pulled of a chunk of meat for Chaka,Kopa and Kiara. She gave them rather large pieces to eat their fill. "Eat up my loves, you need your energy to get big and strong." she said with a grin. She pulled off a chunk for herself and gave the largest piece to Simba, she figured they would pick at Sarafina's kill after they finished their portions.

Sarafina pulled over a chunk for Dyanna and set it infront of her, "Eat up sweety.." she said nuzzling the cub's cheek softly. Sarafina ate her belly full and left the rest of the gazelle out for others to eat when they finished theirs. She laid to her belly in the cool grass and felt the gentle breeze pass through her fur, she inhaled the sweet smell of the lands.

Dyanna rolled onto her back next to Sarafina in the cool grass and gazed up at the blue sky, "I love this new place..." she said with a smile. Her bright blue eyes gazed at Sarafina, "Thank you." she whispered.

Sarafina licked Dyanna's cheek, "Welcome sweety. I'm glad your enjoying your new home." she spoke softly.

Simba ate until he was full. By then, he was so full that he just felt like lying down. He flopped down to the ground. He looked to the sky, thinking of his father and mother. He then thought of Vitani. "Oh 'Tani, I can't wait for you to return," he said.

Kopa sat uncharacteristically quiet as he ate his meal, pondering on whether or not his actions had been justified. His whiskers twitched as he wondered whether or not killing the mouse to learn how to hunt would have been better than not. After all, what if he never learned how to dispatch prey correctly because he didn't want to kill and got trampled or crushed by a wildebeest or antelope before he was old enough to take the throne. He couldn't imagine yet all the animals he would help and save when he became king, and if he was killed before that, it might just star a civil war to decide if Chaka or Kiara would take his place. Not to mention that time would be changed and a black hole opened up between their dimension and another, causing universal death to all animals. Kopa shook his head, trying to dispel the headache he had caused himself. He decided to just kill the mouse and get it over with.

Simba noticed Kopa and watched to see what he was about to do. He hoped it was something good.

"Come on! All of you! I mean it!" Zira was enraged at their laziness, and was ready to sink teeth into lions if they didn't hurry up.

Kovu pounced for the kingfisher, bumping into Folle the whole way. "Move! I've gotta get it first!" He exclaimed.
