He felt a little relievd to hear Adofo's response, but at the same time couldn't decide whether or not to believe it. He flinched when he asked him a question and he looked over at them. He shook his head.
"No. Everything's okay. I'm just a little surprised is all. ...I didn't expect you all to tag along."

[Adofo]

Simba: Well.....you okay with this bro?
Adofo: Yeah!
Simba: Alright! Let's get moving!
They walk for hours until night starts to fall.
Adofo: We should stop for tonight.
They find a nice place to settle down for the night. Everyone quickly falls asleep from walking all day.
Adofo: Hey Haramu, come lay next to me. I want to talk with you!

Haramu's jaw went taut and he approached his father somewhat cautiously, going over anything he may have done wrong. As of recently, he culdn't think of anything. Unless he wanted to discuss... that. He swallowed and sat beside his father, slowly easing himself to the ground. He looked up at him expectantly.
"Did I do something wrong?" he asked slowly.

[Adofo]

Adofo: What? No of course not! I just want to talk. Are you okay? I've noticed you seem to space off and you seem to like staring at your paws lately. And don't say there isn't something on your mind, because there is! Did I do something wrong or something to upset you?

Haramu's ears swiveled back.
"N-no, Dad. It's not that, it's..." He struggled to find the right words and his gaze moved to the others as they slept together. He seemed to look sadder. "I just... I just hoped that we could..." He stammered and he looked back at Adofo before looking down again. "I wanted us to go alone because I thought I could change your mind about going."

[Adofo]

Adofo: What? Why don't you want us to go? .......wait.....are YOU worried that I'll leave? Is that it?

Haramu tensed.
"Every night on your birthday, you go and sit by that mess. You want to know who you are." His voice trembled. "I didn't want you to go, because I don't want you to find o-others like you. But the pride supported you to go..." He closed his eyes and covered his head with his paws. "I thought you understod...."

[Adofo]

Adofo: Haramu....listen I am your father, I will NEVER leave you! No matter what! You're my little boy! No matter what could possibly happen, NOTHING will keep you and me apart! Okay? I love you son!
He wrapped his arms around his son and held him tight.

Haramu tried to pull away.
"I don't want you to find your kind. You're different from Simba and everyone. I'm different from everyone, too. Even you... But we're both different. That was ours. It was the only thing I had in common with anyone here, and... and now you're looking for your kind." He turned, looking away from Adofo. "I liked you being different."

[Adofo]

Adofo: Hey, i'll still be the same! Something tells me....i won't be like the humans we'll find! But.....if not......does that mean you'll stop loving me?
