[Buffy]

Buffy reached in and picked the tiny cub up. "Kiara! I found Chakavu!" Buffy yelled and Kiara came running. She nuzzled her cub and sniffed him. He was fine. "But where's Tero?" Kiara was so worried. "Mama... I might know where Tero is!" Zeta said and started climbing down Pride Rock. "Zeta! Where are you going?" She looked at her mother for a moment. "I'm going for Tero. He needs to know his future is ok. I won't come home till he comes with me!" Buffy looked as her cub ran down Pride Rock and through the Pridelands. She's growing too fast Buffy thought, but she needed to give Zeta the room she needed to grow.

Zeta had been running for ages and it was already dark. But she had made it to the edge of the Outlands. Tero had once talked in his sleep that he wanted to see the Outlands, and if he needed protection, he would find it in the Outlands, somehow... Zeta decided to cross the log Kiara had crossed as a cubby. She was careful, and very aware of the crocodiles in the river below. "Tero... Tero..." Zeta called. She didn't really want to go in the Outlands, but it seemed she had to. She walked through the Outlands, watching out for danger at every corner, but soon she found Tero. She felt his scent. He was asleep under a tree. "Psst... Tero, wake up!" Zeta said and poked him.

What are you doing here Zeta?! You're not supposed to be here! I want you to come home! I'm not coming home unless Chakavu's gone. But, how would you wait for Chakavu to be gone.....wait....you mean. Yes, until he's dead. But, you can't kill him. Well, I have to save him by killing him. How would you save him? You killing your brother. Well, last night, when the rouge lion after he threw me off of priderock, he said that he'd get my brother. So, I'd have to kill him. So just go home! Zeta got upset, and went home.

Buffy waited for Zeta to get home. Soon, Buffy saw her. Zeta! There you are! I was getting worried! Where's Tero? Mom, he's not gonna come back for a while. About a week. well, if he don't come in a week, then we'll go get him. Buffy went into the cave. Zeta looked out to the pridelands, and then went into priderock.

The morning came, and Zeta was already looking out over the Pridelands at dawn. She sighed, hoping Tero was ok. She heard a sound and turned around. She had hoped it was Tero, but it was only Willow. She wondered why he was always sleeping in the daytime and living during the night. "Willow?" Zeta asked him. He turned around and looked at the young cub. "Why do you not go outside during the day?" Zeta asked with her head tilted a bit. "I'm... afraid I guess..." Willow said and walked into Pride Rock. Zeta had a confused look on her face, but ignored it. She was waiting for her mom to wake up.

It had been 2 hours and the sun was already risen. Buffy awoke and gave a huge yawn and a nice, long stretch. "What a nice morning." She mumbled. "Morning? More like afternoon!" Zeta told her mom and Buffy was shocked. She normally woke up earlier. "Well, when I worry about you for half the night, I might use some more energy than normal!" Buffy assured Zeta. "Come on. Lets go to the waterhole." Zeta said and started hopping away. "No... I um... Have stuff to do... Get someone to go with you." Buffy told her cub. Zeta got a dissappointed look on her face. "I'll go with her..." They both turned around to see Willow, a lion no one would expect to come out during daylight. Buffy smiled as the two ran off together. She then turned and went back to Pride Rock to see Kiara.

Buffy went to talk Kiara. Kiara, are you alright? Kiara didn't answer. Kiara adored Tero evernt though he was a troble maker, but since he was the only boy in the litter, he needed more love. But since Tero was gone, she had hardly any love to give. Chakavu cried because he wated to be cradled by his mother. Waaaaa! Kiara, Chakavu wants you to cradle him. Kiara didn't answer. If I give no love, I can't give milk. You've got to try, Chakavu wants you to cradle him and he's hungry. You need to feed him! No. What?! You're turning down your own newborn cub?! Chakavu cried more and more. Then, Buffy grabbed him by the scruff and she took him over to her spot to feed him. But he didn't want Buffy's milk, he wanted his mothers. Chakavu tried to crawl, but his eyes weren't open, he almost got stepped on by Nuka. And then Buffyb heared a great big cry, coming from Chakavu. Chakavu's mini tail got stepped on by Zeta. Sorry mommy. Why are you taking care of Chakavu? Because his mother is neglecting him. Then Buffy picked up Chakavu and cradled him. While looking at Kiara in a stern way.

[Buffy]

"What? Can someone do that?" Zeta asked her mom. "Sadly, they can..." Buffy answered. Shortly after Willow came in and sat next to Zeta. "Buffy... Can we talk?" He asked, and Buffy was about to nod before Zeta suddenly burst in, "he loves you!" Buffy's eyes widened. She wanted to smile and cry of joy, but she couldn't. She stayed serious and acted shocked. Buffy didn't know how to turn him down. She was already a lone mom, she was cradling a necglected cub, and she was pregnant with someone else's cub, which she hadn't told anyone. "Willow..." He turned away. "I knew it would be impossible for someone like you to love me!" He was about to leave again before Buffy decided to speak up, "Willow! The truth is I had feelings for you the first time I saw you!" Buffy immediatly regreted what she had said. But it felt good for her to get it off her chest. But now she had to tell him more. "But we can't be together..." Zeta jumped and literally got into her mom's face. "Why?" Zeta was so close to her mom's eyes that she had become blurry for Buffy's sight. Buffy pushed Zeta down and sighed. "Because I am a lone mother, I am cradling a neglected cub and..." Buffy couldn't say the last part. It was too hard. But she knew she had to do it. "...and I am pregnant with a rogue's cub. The same rogue who got me pregnant with Zeta." She lowered her head of embarrassment. Willow just smiled, even if Buffy couldn't see it. "Then don't you think that you could use a father. I don't care if I am gonna be a step dad. I love you!" Buffy looked up and saw that he was telling the truth, and she decided to accept him as her mate. "I promise that we will have a cub someday... Just... Not now." Buffy said and nuzzled him. She didn't notice her cub's facial expression till Zeta spoke up. "You're pregnant?" Buffy nodded, and this was obviously too much for Zeta, because she fainted.

Zeta! Are you alright?! What? Yes I'm fine, but your, pregnant. It don't matter. But you'll have a baby brother or sister. Zeta, could you leave us alone for a few mintutes. Okay Willow. So, Zeta left the cave. Well, Buffy, you know we could still have a cub. Well, when? Well, now. How is that possible? Well, I could mate you now and then you'd have twins. I've heard that happen with other lion couples. Well, okay. Since I really do love you. Soon, Willow mated Buffy. Soon, she'd have the rouges cub, and Willow's cub. She soon saw Chakavu crawl over to Kiara. He tried to get to her stomach when all of a sudden, Kiara growled at him. GROWL!!!!!!!!!! Kiara!

[Buffy]

Buffy felt horrible. It had been too long ago since Zeta's birth, and Buffy had no milk to give. And she had just started reproducing milk. "How can you do that to your cub? If Tero never returns, there won't be one king left. Chakavu needs you Kiara!" Buffy felt anger go through her blood. She had forgotten that a bunch of lions could have seen her and Willow mate, she just felt angry at Kiara and sorry for Chakavu. The little cub had a larger chance of dying, and if Kiara wouldn't accept him, it would be his fate. There was another thing Buffy didn't understand, if Kiara was so upset when she thought he was stillborn, why was she turning him away? A thousand things went on in Buffy's head. She couldn't bear it all. So she took Chakavu and they both fell asleep.

As Buffy,Willow,Zeta and Chakavu slept. Maua came in the cave. "Why is Chakavu with Buffy", Maua thought. Maua went to her mother.Mommy, why is Chakavu with Buffy? Kiara didn't answer. Mom?! Kiara growled and then scratched Maua.Owwwwww! Buffy woke up suddenly. She saw Kiara was still in her growl mood, blood was on her claws, and Maua was scratched. Kiara! Then, Kiara growled at Buffy. Buffy got Maua and put her by Chakavu. Chakavu was crying. I can't feed you. You'll probibly die sometime this week. Then, Buffy remembered something. Zeta. When did Tero say he'd come back. Well, he said that he'd not come back for a week. Then, Buffy looked at Chakavu. I hate to say it but, I think Chakavu will die.

[Buffy]

Zeta felt so sad. "I can't allow that! He's innocent!" Her eyes were filled with tears. "Zeta..." Buffy started, but she shook her head and ran off. She had to bring Tero back. "Zeta!" Buffy called, but she had made up her mind. Either she brought Tero home or she'd leave the Pride, no matter how much she loved her mother.

Buffy was getting so stressed. She had 2 more cubs to take care of, her own cub was missing, and she couldn't do anything about it. It was too much for her. The stress was taking over, she fainted.

Willow came back. Buffy! He rushed over to her. Buffy, are you okay? What happened? You fainted. Are you okay? I'm fine, it's just I'm haveing so much stress, that I fainted. Where's Zeta? She went to find Tero. She even said she wouldn't return if Tero didn't come back!
If she don't come back by tonight. We'll go find her. What about Chakavu? Chakavu cried as he was hungry, and he wanted his mother. Also, if we don't find her. Then we will have to tell Kovu what Kiara is doing. Soon, Buffy saw Chakavu crawl over to Kiara. He soon, got to a spot. But was pushed into the cave's wall and started to cry. Kiara! Then, Buffy jumped at Kiara and attacked her.
