Before long, Pride Rock was only a speck in the distance. They walked along the path Simba had recently used to return to the Pridelands. "As I said before, I wonder if Vitani or Kiara will ultimately be the dominant cub," he said.

Sarafina watched her daugher and son in law leave, having agreed to look after the cubs. Even though Vitani wasn't Nala's daughter, she did sort of look like her. It was the eyes, mostly. And Kiara looked a lot like Simba when he was younger. "You're both so sweet... And innocent. I hope the pridelands will be a haven to you as you grow, unlike it was for your parents..."

"Hmm. I think maybe Kiara, after all she does have your fathers blood and he was a mighty king. But so does Vitani....." Nala thought. "We'll figure it out later."

And so, the trek continued. Eventually, they were within sight of the jungle's entrance. Simba looked around, stopping in the patch of desert. "Nala, this is the spot where Timon and Pumbaa found me," he said proudly.

"You made it all the way out here? By yourself?!" Nala looked at Simba and then at the cracked dessert ground. "Wow you were very brave." Nala complemented before nuzzling Simba.

Simba chuckled "Well, sort of. I got this far and then passed out from the heat. That's when Timon and Pumbaa found me and brought me into the jungle. Now, it is time that the jungle was once more graced by your beauty, Nala," he said, walking for the jungle entrance.

Nala smiled her beautiful smile and then walked with Simba.

They entered the jungle. "Well, Nala, here we are," he said as he began searching for a suitable sleeping spot and also a spot where they could spend some romantic time alone. Finally, he found one. "This looks like a good spot," he said to Nala.

Upon arriving Timon, Ma, Max and Pumbaa let the Colony know to give Simba and Nala Privacy.

"So Simba, what do you want to do first?" Nala asked before pouncing on him.
