Cheza smiled and nodded, "No problem." he lied down as well to rest a little himself. The tree branch he was on when Kipekee saw him was comfortable, but if he fell asleep he'd fall off and that would not be comfortable.

Kipekee was having a dream, a bad dream about the night before she left. In the dream she started to scream, not knowing she was screaming in real life aswell.

Kipekee's screaming was loud enough to wake Cheza from his nap. He crawled over to where the lioness was sleeping and put a paw on her shoulder, nudging her a few times on the way. "Kipekee!" he repeated her name a few times untill she stopped screaming and woke up, "What's wrong?"

Kipekee eyes widened with shock, "They're gonna get me!! They hurt me again!!", she started to cry.

Not noticing that he was doing so, Cheza kept his paw on the lioness' shoulder, "Calm down, nobody's here." he tried to reassure her, "It was just a bad dream."

Kipekee shuffled away from Cheza slightly. She was shaking and still very nervous, "O-O-Ok....".

Cheza really wanted to help, but he had no idea how to makje her feel better. "Just calm down, we're the only ones here." he felt really bad that the abuse she went through was still affecting her.
