"Simba really, what's going on? Tell us the truth." Timon said with a concerned look on his face. "Simba! Tell us!" Timon shouted.

Meanwhile, Kamari was sweating like crazy as he walked towards the Falls with Meila. When they got there, he cleared his throat "We're uh, here!" he let out a nervous chuckle. Meila nodded and jumped onto the log that went over the River facing the Falls. "Come up here and sit down!" Meila said "You can feel the mist in your face! It really cools you down." Meila said, patting the log. "Uh-uh. S-sure." Kamari got up and sat down next to her nervously. "Wow, it does feel nice here." he mentioned, not as nervous this time. He felt the mist in his face which really calmed him down a lot and made him feel better. Meila smiled. "It does feel nice up here doesn't it?" "Yeah, it does." Meila looked at him. "What?" "Oh, nothing." Meila said. She took her look off of Kamari, but lifting up her head and nuzzled Kamari. Kamari was very shocked but also nuzzled her. They just sat on the log nuzzling each other, while Delano was in the trees watching their every move.

Simba opened his eyes. Timon and Pumbaa won't let him rest until he told them. Well, Kamari and I met someone. It was another cheetah. And a girl. Now she and Kamari went for a walk. Simba started laughing again. You won't believe his face! Kamari lost all control of his thoughts, I'll tell you that! Simba closed his eyes again and tried to get some sleep. This time Timon and Pumbaa left him alone, satisfied with the answer.

Delano watched as Kamari and Meila nuzzled each other. He felt pity for the fool. Kamari didn't even know how to hunt yet, and was already falling for a girl. Not to mention the chances of them lasting together were pitifully small. With a grunt, Delano got up and left, looking for Simba. At least the lion still had some sense in him.

Kamari and Meila sat on the log for a while just enjoying each other and the mist from the falls. It really felt quite good to Kamari, as he had been running around all day. He sighed. "Hey, you wanna go somewhere else now?" Kamari asked. "Sure, why not. Hmm.... Where else is good to hang out?" Meila asked. "Well, I think we should go into the deepest part of the jungle where Simba and I have a secret area where we talk a lot. Simba told me to keep it secret but I don't think he will mind." Meila looked at him "Are you sure?" "Yeah! It'll be fine." Meila sighed, "Ok. But if Simba yells at us don't blame me." Kamari nodded and lifted up a branch so Meila could continue, when he dropped the branch it was so covered by trees, branches, and leaves it was pretty dark as they continued their walk. When they arrived at Simba's and Kamari's secret hideout, "Oh, Kamari it's beautiful! When did you find this?" "About a year ago, and it's been our hideout/club area ever since." Kamari said, walking around the circle like space that was surrounded by trees, it was more like a room than part of the jungle. Kamari found a bunch of soft leaves, gathered them up in his mouth and laid them out for Meila to lay on. "I hope you like it, I- I'll be right back." Kamari ran back to get some meat from the gazelle he had caught. As he was running back to the dead gazelle, Simba jumped out of nowhere in front of Kamari, threatning him because he had shown Meila one of their best kept secrets.

Meanwhile Timon was talking to Pumbaa about Kamari's "friend". "You know Pumbaa, I think it was about time the kid had found another of his own kind, but a falling for a girl at this age, I don't know Pumbaa, I think there is something fishy going on here. But yet again, I maybe wrong. What do you think Pumbaa?"

Simba growled angrily at Kamari. Kamari! This was our secret place! Why did you show it too her? You... you barely even know her. You can't just go and tell others our secrets!.. But as much as Simba wanted to be angry at Kamari, he couldn't bring himself to actually sound as angry as he felt like. Not to his best friend. And not after living Hakuna Matata.

But he then saw anger in Kamari's eyes. What, Kamari? Simba asked. What did Simba do that made Kamari angry? Disapprove of Kamari's handling of things? Kamari wouldn't get this mad about it. It had to be something else. But what?

Pumbaa listened to Timon's theory. Gee, I don't know Timon, you know better than me. So if you don't know, I definitely don't know. I don't think Kamari is acting the same way as he did before, but he'll be back.

occ: you can have him have a scar where ever you want and you also can have Delano drop in in the middle of the fight to break it up.
Kamari growled. "Well it's not fair for you to dump me and go be friends with that dumb leopard! You spend more time with him than you do me!" Kamari flattened his ears and bared his teeth. "It's about high time you learned a lesson about fighting, right Simba?" Kamari's bristles were standing up on his back. He Kamari and Simba started circling each other, looking for any points to attack. Kamari found a spot and jumped onto Simba, clawing, scratching, and biting. Then without notice, Simba pulled out his claws and gave Kamari a scar........

Timon nodded. "Oh well Pumbaa you're not stupid." he patted his buddy's shoulder. "You're a great friend, that's all that matters to me."

ooc: ooh, that's cruel... That and scars form after a while after wounds heal up. Yo never really know about scars until they start forming days after a wound. That, or the severity of the wound, but never right away.

Simba's eyes widened in surprise when Kamari lunged at him, snarling ferociously. Simba quickly stepped back to avoid getting hit. What are you doing Kamari? Stop! Delano's trying to help us. He is willing to teach us how to hunt! Kamari just snarled again, his fur rising on his back. Simba backed away slowly off to the side, suddenly afraid of his friend. Kamari... what are you doing? I didn't leave you! I just left you alone with Meila. We're still friends Kamari! We're-

Just then, Kamari shot forwards, slamming into Simba. Simba let out a surprised and pained yelp and tried to shake Kamari off. The cheetah held on firmly, claws digging into Simba's fur, drawing blood. Reaching out, Simba pulled Kamari off of him, and swung his paw hard at Kamari's face, claws out. The claws connected, spraying blood on both of them. Simba leaned back, preparing to unleash another blow as Kamari also prepared for his own attack... and something slammed hard into Simba, knocking him several feet away, and out of breath. It was Delano.

Delano watched in horror as Kamari attacked Simba as the lion tried reasoning with him. At first, Simba was on the defensive, but quickly gained the upper hand, and clawed Kamari hard in the face. This was too much. Delano jumped down from the tree he was on and charged straight at Simba, slamming hard into the lion. He quickly turned and swung a paw at Kamari's side, knocking down the cheetah. As Simba and Kamari both tried to get up, Delano roared as loudly as he can. STOP!

Pumbaa smiled at Timon's compliment, but his smile stopped when he heard snarling. Hey, Timon... do you hear that? Timon got onto Pumbaa's back to hear better. Both of them cringed when a loud roar tore through the jungle, Timon nearly fainted. Pumbaa immediately started running as fast as he could. Come on Timon, we have to check on Kamari and Simba! the warthog shouted to the meerkat on his head.

Kamari was breathing heavily. There was blood in his mouth, on his face, legs and body. "What do you want?!" he yelled at the leopard, Kamari's eyes were literally red. His was still in his threatening posture, ears down, teeth bared, and legs at the ready. Kamari growled. He was just about to pounce onto Delano when Meila came running in. "Kamari!" Kamari whipped around claws at the ready, but when he noticed it was Meila he immediately dropped his paw down. As soon as he did, Meila stopped dead in her tracks and stared. "K-Kamari? Wha-What happened?" she looked at Simba and Delano who also were covered with blood and scratches. "Meila looked at all three who were breathing heavily and all were looking at her. She broke down and started crying, "Don't bother talking to me again!" Meila yelled. She ran to the edge of the jungle and sat down. Her heart beating fast with pain and her eyes filled with tears. "Why would he do this to me?"

Timon was light-headed when he and Pumbaa arrived at the scene. There was blood on the ground and on everybody's faces. "I think- I'm- I'm...." Timon fainted and fell off of Pumbaa.

Delano saw Meila run away, Kamari racing and calling after her. The leopard turned back to Simba, angry. What was that? What did I just see? Care to explain? he demanded. Simba just looked at the ground, unable to explain himself. But Delano wasn't finished. Why did I have to jump in, and stop a fight? But not any fight. A fight between two best friends! What happened here?

Simba continued to stare at the ground, tears in his eyes. I didn't want to fight him! he tried explaining. I tried reasoning with him, but he attacked. And... and then-

Delano simply grunted. So what if he attacked you? So what? You should have turned around and ran! Seems cowardly, I know, but much better than what you did. Oh no, you just had to claw his entire face clean off! Did you see what you did to him? It's very likely that it will scar now. Just think about it. You will know that you just gave your best friend one of the worse scars he will ever have in his entire life!

Simba couldn't take it anymore. I'm sorry! What do you want with me! What do you want me to do? he broke down, sobbing. Delano walked over.

The leopard leaned down and talked softly to the weeping lion. I'm not going to be gentle. What you did was very bad. It will be a miracle if you two will remain friends after this. But if you give it your best, I believe that you two will make it through. I'll be honest here. I don't know how Kamari will react. Not after that wallop you gave him. And also, if he really hates me that much, I will leave. I will not ruing your friendship for the sake of my amusement. Alright? But first, you need to get up, find Kamari, and help him. He needs you now. You need to be there for him.

Simba slowly got up and nodded. Without a backwards glance, he ran off, searching for Kamari.

Delano walked over to Timon and Pumbaa. Timon was still out. We'd better also go and find them. They need you two. He saw Pumbaa's scared face. Don't worry, I won't bite. The leopard said.

Timon slowly lifted his head up and was about to get up when he saw Delano's huge face. He screamed, then fainted again.

Kamari skidded to a stop when he noticed he was covered in blood. He ran down to the river to wash up, the water was red when he finished washing, but there was one part of his body that wouldn't stop bleeding. His face. No matter how much pressure he put on it it wouldn't stop bleeding. He knew if he lost too much blood it could be dangerous, so he tried to heal it as much as he could before going and seeing Meila again. He was completely clean and slightly damp from the water. The only thing that was still red on him was the four scratch marks against his face. He ran back out of the river and up to the edge of the jungle where he slowly pulled himself to a stop. He saw Meila with her hands in her paws, crying her heart out. He slowly approached her, then placed a soft paw on her shoulder. She jumped up and screamed. "What are you doing here?!" she yelled, ears flat against her head. Kamari's feet pulled him back a few steps. "I was just- coming to see if you were... okay...?" Meila's ears went back to normal again. "Yeah, yeah, I'm fine, just, leave me alone for a few minutes please." Kamari was slightly hurt by her response, but did as he was told. He went back to where Delano was, along with Simba, Timon (who was now awake), and Pumbaa were all looking at him with grumpy faces, especially Timon and Pumbaa.

Simba looked up when he sensed that Kamari was coming towards them. His ears flattened, knowing that now was the best time to apologize. Trying to ignore the other's eyes drilled on his back, Simba slowly approached Kamari. He saw the red claw marks on Kamari's face, and his heart dropped. Simba never meant for it to happen, but now it was too late to change the past. Kamari? he asked softly. Are you okay? Kamari nodded, hatred in his eyes, causing Simba to back up unintentionally from fear.

Simba forced himself to face Kamari. Kamari, please listen to me. I'm so sorry... Simba paused, searching for words. I wish that I could have taken it back and not have fought with you, but I can't. But I'm so sorry. Please, can you forgive me? So that we can go back and be friends again? He looked at Kamari, hopeful.
