Through the heavy flow of blood that was oozing from the gash in his left ear, Simba was barely able to see the fight that was going on between his son and grandson. This was just as well, because from the sound of it it was a pretty nasty fight. He wondered what had caused Uchawi to turn traitor against his own family. Simba had not been expecting the coward's surprise attack on him just when he was waking up from a peaceful slumber. The aging king felt his blood boil as the wounds on his face and neck continued to sting more and more. It would serve that traitor right if he died right then and there. All familial ties he had previously with this rogue were lost forever.

Nala's entire system froze as Kopa commanded her to run to Simba's aid. She would protect Simba with her life if need be, but part of her still couldn't believe what was happening right now. The queen still had not recovered from the death of Kiara, but she knew instantly that she'd have to go to Simba. Now. She nearly screeched as she went over to Simba's aid, not even paying an instant of attention to Kovu, Uchawi, and Kopa.

"S-Simba...are you....okay...it'll be fine..." she said urgently,licking his fur to calm him down. When it came to what to do in order to treat a severely bleeding lion, her mind suddenly blanked. She had no idea what to do, and her heart couldn't possibly bear as to what would happen if he was lost. Great Kings, what can I do?!

Kopa walked Uchawi too the prison. The prison was really a hole dug in the ground, in which the lion being held captive would step in, with a straw in this muzzle, and would get buried alive. Overtime, playing children would kick dirt into the straw, and the lion would get dirt in his lungs, and choke to death.

Uchawi broke away though. Because as Kopa was walking, he kept thinking about what just happened, and Uchawi saw the perfect chance too move in on the attack. Uchawi slashed his giant paws across Kopas neck, leaving him there, blood filling his lungs.

Kopa was dieing. He lay there, blood filling his lungs, his eyes, his mouth... and he realized, that he might actually be ready too die. He lay there thinking these thoughts, when suddenly a stranger came, and picked him up, and threw him over their back. It was Uchawi, but what was he planning?

Uchawi did just as Kopa had expected. Given him another chance too live. He dropped him off on the bottom of priderock, and whistled, sending lions flying in all directions. But Uchawi was already gone, and Kopa layed their in a gory mess.

Simba coughed up blood and tried to sit up, but the wounds on his face forced him to go crashing down again. He saw the worried look on his mate's face and attempted a weak smile. "I'm alright Nala." he said as calmly as he could. "I'll be fine with just a little rest.."
Simba knew these were lies but he didn't want his mate to get upset. She had still not fully recovered from the death of Kiara, and she was afraid he might die as well. Simba looked up at Nala and noticed that she was frozen with shock. She obviously had no idea how to care for an injured lion, or was simply too scared to remember. Gently he licked her rumpled fur and spoke again, this time abarely above a whisper, "You'll have to fetch Rafiki. He'll know what to do. And hurry." he gasped as the gashes in his head started to throb more fiercely.

Uchawi walked into his secret home. There sat a monkey. Well, not exactly a monkey, more of an ape.

"How'd you do?" Said the Ape.

"Not too good... no one's dead. I got a good ammount of blood out of Simba, and Kopa, but the wounds shouldn't be fatal," Said Uchawi feeling a bit intimidated.

"Well then, I guess I'll have too do it myself," Said the Ape, taking out his sword. "I must say though, I'm fairly disappointed in you, Uchawi," he said, and aimed the sword at Uchawi's neck. "I could execute you now, with one nice clean swipe... but I won't. Because I still need you, too clean up my mess, but here's a little note for you," he said, and cut Uchawi's neck open. Blood splurted out.

"How I hate too do these things on my own, Uchawi," said the Ape.

"I'm sorry I failed you, Jelly," said Uchawi, falling too the floor.

Jelly then proceeded towards the door.

Kovu was laying down for a long while. The fall had knocked him out cold and he was barely breathing. Finally, after the memories were over, Kovu managed to wake up. He was slightly bleeding, but it wasn't serious. He managed stood up, but his eyes widened when he saw Simba, whom was critically injured, talking to Nala. He immediately ran to them.

''What happened here?!'' Kovu tried to remember, but the only thing he could remember was trying to kill his son for killing Kiara when Kopa threw him off and he got knocked out cold.

Kopa coughed up tons of blood. His arms were too weak for him too stand up. He lay there in complete paralysm, trying too get up, with every last ounce of his strength. Then something came over him. His bones started too feel stronger. Shaking, he was able too stand up.

Blood spurted from his mouth, as getting was quite a big task for him, at this point. He slowly let words form in his mouth. All efforts were futile though. Kopa couldn't speak. He fell back down too the cold ground. There he layed, shiving, in a pool of his own blood.

For some reason, that night, Kopa got strength. Light shined around his body. Mufasa's ghost appeared in the sky, and possesed Kopa.

"Friends! What are we doing? Why is there more fighting? What have I done wrong? Are we not pridelanders!? Then why don't we act like real people, and not fight back against these fiends? The war is over," said Mufasa in a very strong voice. His voice has taken over Kopa's bleeding lungs. For a moment the pridelanders actually felt relief that Mufasa would protect them from such horrible actions from taking place. For a second, they thought the war was over.

Boy, how wrong they were.
