"Yeah. More quiet than you and me," Mnyama replied. She herself was social and talkative, often as a cub being teasingly compared to a chattering ground squirrel, while Yegath was more like Muroki.

[Squirrels do live in Africa.]

Marini chuckled. "So's Yegath." she added, looking at the lioness in question with a smile. It was a little odd how Muroki sometimes preferred his solitude while Yegath almost always couldn't stay away from Mnyama for too long.

(Really? Didn't know that. )

[Not all squirrels, though- I'm pretty sure it's mainly ground squirrels and such. c:]

Mnyama glanced over her shoulder at her friend, who was looking at Marini with a lopsided, meek grin on her face, and smirked playfully. "Yeah. She and Muroki are almost the same." Of course, that was a massive exaggeration.

(Whenever I hear / read about squirrels I think about Invader Zim.)

Marini giggled to herself. "Yeah." she said, joining in on Mnyama's exaggeration as she grinned back at Yegath. "I'd almost say you were siblings, but..." The three of them often playfully teased each other. It was harmless fun.

Yegath stuck her tongue out at Marini playfully. "Nyeeeh!"

Marini stuck her tongue back at Yegath, giggling once more. "We're not sisters, true..." she said, shrugging her shoulders.

"Besides," Yegath went on with a playful air, "siblings don't have to have similar personalities... I mean, you and Muroki are totally different." She giggled, almost childishly.

Marini nodded in agreement. "Sometimes they just look alike." she said, smiling. "Sometimes they act alike, and sometimes both!" She giggled. "But yeah, Muroki's more like your cup of tea..." The pale furred lioness grinned teasingly.

(Sorry for using an expression no lion would know the meaning of... I couldn't think of another one that has the same meaning.)

Yegath grinned back. "Yes. But of course, I never mind hanging out with you two."

Marini realized that Yegath wasn't really catching her drift, but decided not to try again. "Neither do I!" she said. "Sheesh, it sure is hot today, though..."

(Figured that, if something's going to catch on fire, it should be really hot.)
