The new danger in the land

Tua: Okay....let's go! On three. One.....two.....THREE!
He charged at his target and chased it as the other animals ran for their lives.

Deciding to use Tua as a distraction, Marini positioned herself to her target's side, causing it to run directly towards her when her hunting partner chased his own gazelle. It wasn't a problem to knock the gazelle down and go for its throat.

Tua leaped and took down his gazelle and bit it's throat.
Tua: Ah! Got ya!

After having taken down her own gazelle, Marini began to search for her hunting partner. She soon found him standing over his own kill. "Not bad." she said, shooting him a somewhat teasing smile. "For a male."

Tua: That is the nicest thing anyone has ever said to me!
He teased. Nice kill for you! .....for a cub.

Marini shot the lion in front of her a playful glare. "You should maybe practice some more so that a cub won't do better than you again in he future." She quite enjoyed these fake arguments of theirs every now and then. Tua probably knew that she was just joking. "I think we should both eat from the same one." she said. "We can take the other gazelle back to the den with us later."

Tua: My plan from the start! And just for your information, i went first so you could catch yours easier. Hehehe
Tua threw his kill on his back and started walking back home

Marini also picked up her own kill, but not before making one last remark. "Sure... Anything to make you feel better." Being a lioness, she was a little smaller than Tua was, so it was a bit more difficult for her to carry a gazelle. But she managed nonetheless.

They carried their kills right as Simba was coming from the den.
Tua: Hey Simba! Got you some breakfast!

Simba smiled at the sight of two of his pride members. "Good morning Tua, Marini." he said, noticing the kills they were carrying. "Oh, you shouldn't have... The hunting party was supposed to head out soon anyway..."

"Well," said Marini with a chuckle, placing the gazelle down, "now they have less work to do."
