"Heck, even if we did get an answer it would be 'It's a private place' or 'I have no clue'! And I'm tired." Complained Simba.
They heard a noise behind them, an alarming noise. A robot turning on.
"What was that?!" Vitani exclaimed. To their dismay, a circular robot that floated above the ground with the ability to fly with it's helicopter-like blades. It had one red eye and- guns for arms.
"CREATURES FOUND, SCANNING IDENTITY." Said the bot, and the group got ready to run.
"NEMESIS DETECTED, SHIFTING INTO BATTLE POSITION. CALLING FOR BACKUP. GUNS ARMED AND LOADED."
"Run!" Nala shouted, and they started to flee, the drone in hot pursuit. Eventually, they were cornered.
"What now?!" Kiara asked.
"We fi-"
Adofo was interrupted by a breeze, a familiar breeze. A familiar blue shape started attacking the drone until it fell on it's head and shut down.
The blue shape turned around, revealing green eyes.
"You're lucky I was here," It muttered. "Or else that sentry drone could've killed you with one gunshot each. Sentry drones killed Rouge back in 2012 by shooting her to death, so..."
That voice...that voice...ah, the stupid shadow! It's covering his face, I know who that voice belongs to! It's on the tip of my tongue! Adofo thought, and he moved slightly so the shadow wasn't in the blue shape's face.

CHAPTER ONE
None and Done
(Sonic's Chapter)

[Adofo]

Sonic: Hey guys! What are all of you doing here?! And who are you?
Simba: Hey Sonic. We're here because some weird things are happening lately. And....this is Adofo.
Sonic: OH! Haha! I didn't recognize him!
Adofo: Yeah....I went through some.....changes when we came here.
Sonic: Well Come on, let me take you back to see the rest of the team.
Sonic guides the others back to meet up with the rest of the team.
Sonic: So what's been going on?
Adofo: I've....been having weird dreams lately. I figured maybe you guys could help us.

[Kipekee]

Sonic raised an eyebrow. "What kind of dreams?"
"Well, about this white echidna with a robe and a staff, and he said his name was Lord Ix and-"
"Stop it right there!" Sonic exclaimed. "We know this guy. He brought us through hell, back, through hell and back again."
He turned and sighed. He peeked in the window of Tails' work shop and frowned. "Oh come on!"
"What?" Nala asked.
"He's not inside. We have to look for him. In the meantime, do you want a tour of the city?" Sonic asked.
"Sure! Why not? We were lost anyway." Said Kovu.
"Then let's go! Don't worry, I'll walk for you."

[Adofo]

Adofo: So, how you been?
Sonic: Been pretty good lately. It's been fairly quiet lately. Amy is still bugging me.
Vitani: THis place seems really.....weird.
Sonic: Yeah well, I don't blame you. This definitely isn't the wild.
Simba: YOu can say that again.
Sonic: Hey Adofo, how are your kids?
Adofo: Ohe they're doing great! Sam is dating some girl now. Shanon just got her drivers license.

[Kipekee]

"Good for them!" Sonic exclaimed, then they came to the city. THE actual City.
"Welcome to Central City! Okay, so I think I may have an idea where Tails is. We're going building-climbing." Sonic said.
"Wait, what?" Adofo said.
"Well, Tails can fly so we have to climb. I always end up finding him on a certain rooftop."

[Adofo]

Nala: Uh Sonic, in case you didn't notice, we can't fly on run up walls.
Sonic: Ugh.....guess you'll have to take the elevator. WAIT can any of you-
Adofo: We can't run up walls either.
Sonic: Dang.

[Kipekee]

"Elevator it is, then." Adofo said, then walked in the building while Sonic ran up the sides and started jumping roof to roof.
"He'll get there before we do if we don't hurry." Vitani said. "Then he'll complain."
"Then let's stop talking and move." Kovu inquired.
They all crowded in the elevator and waited to get to the top floor.
After frantically searching for a way to get to the roof, they found a skylight and climbed through, then carefully made their way to a yellow building with a red roof, where they saw Sonic and- a taller, broader, and healthy looking Tails.

Chapter Two
(Tails' Chapter)

[Adofo]

Adofo: Hey Tails.
Tails: HEY! Guys it's been too long! How are you!?
Simba: Good....I guess.
Kiara: You didn't tell him?
Sonic: No. To keep myself occupied waiting for you slowpokes, I was jumping roof to roof.
Tails: So what's up?
Adofo: I had a dream. This evil figure came to me in a nightmare. It was horrible.

"Who is it?" The twelve-year-old asked curiously.
"Lord Ix, according to him." Sonic answered.
"Whaaat? He hasn't bothered us for two years. In a row." Tails said, astonished.
"How many times have you been face to face with him?" Adofo asked.
"Too many. Our first time, he kept calling us 'dustlings' and he took the Master Emerald. As you would guess, Knuckles was pissed. And I mean P.I.S.S.E.D. Then Kelsey and one of the Nocturnis members, Shade, found out that they were half-sisters. They had the same father. So Shade joined our side, betraying Ix. The second time, he tried to kill Shade, like, ten thousand times. We sent him back to the Twilight Cage. Aaaand now this is number three."
