Timon had also woken up early, which was quite new to him. Somehow he didn't manage to sleep with the screaming wind during the night. He yawned before heading down Pride Rock to look for grubs. He quickly walked by Vitani and Nevaeh. "Wow Vitani, I didn't know you had a cub..." He stopped for one second... "Vitani? You have a cub! Oh dear! You need to tell someone! Don't tell me you gave birth to it here?" Timon was very hungry after his restless sleep. But he still couldn't believe Vitani had a cub and from the cub's looks, he wondered about who the father was...

The baby crouched down when Kijiti mentioned her color. "Mmm!" she whined, as if telling him to not call her that again. She pointed to her deceased mother. "Mama." she spoke, correcting Timon.

[LilTiger]

'I didn't have it here Timon. I just found her hear. I don't know who left her, and why.'

[Buffy]

"Ohh... So the mom is dead... and you, Vitani? Killed her cause you wanted another cub? How will I be able to remember all this... Where is Zazu when you need him anyway?" Timon took a look at the dead mother and saw the amount of blood pouring out of her. He shivered a bit out of disgust but then quickly turned back to Vitani and the little cub.

The cub managed to say her first sentence. "Daddy hurt momma."

[Buffy]

"Ohh! So the father killed the mom and brought her here?" Timon seemed very confused, and with his bad sleep he couldn't really think straight. "Anyway, what will it eat? Does it like grubs?" Food seemed to be taking over Timon's mind, but he insisted on staying till he got the whole story.

'No It will have my milk', Vitani said. 'But your are mom'!,Kijiti said. 'You can't share your milk to other cubs', Nuka exclaimed.

"Daddy hurt mama. Daddy fall in water. Green thing go snap. Daddy gone. Mama grab me. Mama took me here. Mama gone..." the cub explained as flashbacks of the fight replayed in her head, the scene of her mother and father fighting to the death playing in her head. She may be a baby, but she's a week old, and knows how to talk.

[Buffy]

Timon looked at Nuka which seemed to be jealous over Vitani's natural maternal instinct. "Yeah Vitani, what happens if the kid gets germs from your cubs?" It was now obvious that Timon wasn't thinking straight. He eats grubs and never things of hygiene, just about how fantastic grubs are.

'I don't care', Vitani said. And then licked Nevaeh.
