Simba sighed. "Let's just hope that she isn't like us in other ways," he said.

"You mean like being curious and going to forbidden places?" Nala asked, smiling.

Simba nodded. "Yes. She has both of us in her. It's a very real risk. I don't want to lose her like I lost my father. I don't know how I would go on living if I lost another family member," he said.

[Queen Elsa]

Nala nuzzled up against him. "She'll be fine." she said. "I better go check on her now. You want to come with me?"

Simba smiled. "Of course. How could I not?" he said.

Nala smiled, and walked into the den. Kiara was sleeping in Sarafina's arms. When Sarafina saw Nala come in, she looked admiringly at her daughter. "She's very pretty." she praised. "She looks a lot like you two."
Nala smiled at her mother's praise, then picked up Kiara and laid down with her. She licked the young cub lovingly. She motioned for Simba to come lay next to her.

Simba did so. He smiled at his newborn daughter. "Oh Nala, she's so tiny," he commented.

Nala nodded. She looked up at her mother. "Thanks for guiding me through it." she said. Sarafina had been there the whole time, helping out Nala through it. Nala always did as her mother said. She looked back at Simba. "I'm so glad I found you." she whispered.

Simba smiled. "And I always laugh when I hear the story of how you struck Scar when he tried to come on to you. I love that part," he said.

[Queen Elsa]

Nala smiled at him, then thought of something. "You never told me what really happened to your father, like how he died. Would you mind telling me?" she asked. "Or would it hurt you too much?"
"I'd love to hear it as well." Sarafina added. "If you don't mind."
