Back in the jungle, Pumbaa was starting to get worried. It was already night time, and Simba had yet to return. "Hey, Timon, you think the kid got lost or something?" He asked. "Why isn't he back yet?" Before, even on their roughest day, Simba would be back by night time. At first it was the other way around: he would leave at night. But now, this was unusual. But Timon didn't respond: the meerkat was fast asleep.
Pumbaa prodded Timon to wake him up. "Timon, I'm worried." he complained.
