The New King of the Pridelands (Private Now Amy and Natalie)

Natalie nodded. "Yes, it is my first hunt in my life now." She said.

"Well, a little nightmare." Nala said while following the rest of the lionesses.

"Oh Nala..." Sarafina lowered her ears and walked beside her daughter. "I hope this so called "Golden Age" ends soon." She continued foward and saw Sarabi talking with Natalie. "Hello Natalie, good luck." She added, winking.

Sarabi nodded at Sarafina. "Well Natalie, for this hunt, you will be next to Sarafina. Like that she tells you all the steps of how you must perform. Take example in Nala, she became a great huntress and I'm sure she will take my place soon later... but now I must go talk to Scar."

As the king talked with his fellow hyenas he noticed Sarabi approaching, instead of being with the hunting party. She better not complain again or I'll--

"Scar, you know what my reason to speak with you is, and I am going to speak the truth..." Sarabi gave a weary look, hoping Scar wouldn't be in annoyance. But of course, she was wrong.

"Yes...well you better not dare to speak a word of complaint or I'll send these...monsters at you" Scar flashed his teeth in order for Sarabi to get the message. He hated her as much as Mufasa, since she had betrayed their love.

"Alright." Sarabi glared at Scar before she turned to join the other lionesses.

Nala sighted. "I hope it will end soon..." She looked at the sky.
Natalie nodded. She always had listened to everyone, her mother thaught her how to listen very well, but sadly, her kingdom fell and she was a rogue all the time, till she found the Pridelands. "Why did it had to happen...?" Natalie thought to herself about why did her future kindgom had to fell.

Sarabi stood in front of the group of lionesses and ordered them to assemble. Of course this hunt wasn't going to be more successful than any of the others that had took place since the Pridelands died, but even if they found one lone gazzelle, they would have their meal. "I'd like to introduce Natalie into the hunting party, in fact, it's her first hunt! Congratulations Natalie!" Sarabi placed a warm smile on her muzzle and wrapped her forepaw around Natalie to give her a tight hug. "Try your best dear." As soon as the lionesses finished the celebration, Sarabi turned and headed out into the vast, dry rocky lands, that was once her beautiful home.

Scar climbed back up Priderock and found Zira in the den. He sat beside her and stared outside, glaring at the moving group of lionesses. "Let's hope they actually do their job this time." He rested his body and waited for a meal, a meal that would actually satisfy him.

The hunting party was slowly making ground, searching for any remaining prey. Sarafina smiled warmly at Natalie, she felt quite sorry for her actually. This was her first hunt and the conditions she had to do it in ere poor. Sarafina's first hunt was a joyful one with her mother, that she can still remember.

Sarabi was encouraging the other's to try they're best to look, she was hoping they'd do well. Sarabi was shocked that Scar had hit her before Simba's attempt at getting his throne back, and she never wanted him to do it again.

Natalie was still a little quiet since she was accepted to the pride, except she did answer Scar's questions and obeyed his orders, she wasn't a great hunter as well to that, because of her eyes which didn't had a good vision. But at the same time she felt happy to at least be around the lionesses which were very kind to her especially Nala was. Natalie still looked around to see if there is a prey around.

Nala still was full with sorrow because she still couldn't forget that Simba, who was the only hope for a better kingdom, died in the fire. But she did concentrate on the hunting.

Scar watched from the top of pride rock with Zira to see if the lionesses are doing a good job. "They better not fail the hunting now," Scar gave a little growl to himself, but was happy to continue being King again after killing Simba. Zira sighed and rested her head against Scar's shoulder. "I'm sure they'll wont, my king, but that lioness Natalie, from what I've seen is a bit slow at hunting," Zira said with a sigh. "Indeed," Scar replied still watching, "But she is doing a well job being a servant, at least better than having that stupid bird," He sighed as he felt glad that Zazu wasn't around him.

Sarafina came closer to Natalie, Sarabi stayed at the front of the hunting party. She looked at her,

Natalie shaked he head a bit from her memories which were a flash-back and looked at Sarafina. "Yes, I'm ok," She said with a little sigh. "And I don't know if I'll even will turn out to be a nice huntress." Natalie gave a little frown.

Sarafina rubbed against her shoulder,
"Don't worry, I bet you'll be a great hunteress, especially under the guidance of Sarabi, well, she is still the leader of the hunting party although she isn't the Queen...". Sarabi turned round for a moment,
"Right, we are going to continue west to the former water hole, the wind is not in our favour so shout if you see something!".
