Himili stretched, waking, and looked at her friend, Princess Adanna. Her claws were clawing the ground, and Himili assumed she was dreaming. She stood up groggily, and nudged her son, Zuwa. "Zuwa, sweetie, get up," Zuwa rolled over so his stomach was facing the sky. "Aw, mom," he groaned, "I don't wanna." Himili shook her head and picked him up by the scruff of his neck. "Let's don't wake the princess,"

Vitani looked at Mheetu. "Of course I'm worried. What if I'm not pretty enough for this.." She paused. "Prince." Vitani said with a disgusted look. Her paws his the ground, noticing the tree. "Guess so." She stopped to lay near the large tree Mheetu was under. She noticed Mheetu's question, and how tired he was. "I'll get some, if your too tired?" She asked, her paws weren't hurting, being older and used to hunting and running around a lot.

OOC: I thought Zuwa was a newborn... not able to speak?

Maximus, was awake unusually early. He heard the princess from a neighbouring pride was on her way. He awaited her coming. Also, knowing Mufasa he has his son Simba, or another lion accompany her. Like the King, his fur was lighter then the others. Yet, he came from the Pridelands, leaving after Mufasa gained the throne. Both being old enough to handle true life. Maximus' head jerked back hearing his mate talkin, a smile spread across his face. Himili was the only thing that made Maximus smile that way, then Zuwa was born. The second best day of his life.

OOC: Sorry I'll edit the newborn statement. Kopalover, Mheetu is a little younger then Vitani but not by too much! I forgot to bring in Tempesta's cub sister so Zuwa wouldn't be a lone cub in this RP. So I'll bring her in right now.


Mheetu's green eyes flickered at Vitani, "Well I'm sure you'll be beautiful to him. Your err..uhh..well beautiful to me." he muttered rubbing the back of his head with his forepaw. He smiled sheepishly and stood to his paws, "Stay here ill go get food." he said simply. He nodded for her to relax and he disappeared into the jungle a little deeper. Mheetu followed the scent of a warthog and he grinned when he spotted the fat pig digging its nose under the mud by large tree roots. He unsheathed his claws and growled softly, green eyes watching the prey.

Marrone smiled at Alma and looked down at Nyembe nodding in agreement. "Practice makes perfect my son." he said grey eyes looking to the waking lions/lionesses. "Where is Adanna..?" he asked curiously looking for his daughter.

Tempesta made her way to the watering hole by the water fall and she noticed Dyanna sitting by the edge, she stared at her sad little sister. "Dyanna, Why don't you go play with Zuwa and Himili." she said looking down at her little sister. Dyanna was a miniature replica of their mother and she frowned at the sight of it. Tempesta nuzzled her little sister and smiled, "Things will get better, I promise." she whispered and continued on her way, she had to find Delano.

Dyana's bright blue eyes stared at Tempy and she nodded at the orders. Picking herself up the young cub put a smile on and ran back towards Himili's den. "Zuwa! Zuwa!" she called into it loudly. The dark brown furred cub got excited and she wiggled her ebony tipped toes in the wet grass.

"Hey, Dyanna," said Zuwa, "I'm uh, kinda hung up..." he said, motioning to himself in his mother's mouth. "Sorry, Dyanna, he needs his bath." Zuwa's eyes widened at this and he wiggled around, trying to free himself. "You'll have to wait a few minutes. That okay?"

Delano was enjoying a nice nap when he felt a prodding at his side. Ignoring it, he tried getting some more sleep, but the prodding continued, getting harder and rougher very quickly. It was when he was nearly rolled off the rock he was sleeping on that Delano finally got up, yawing and annoyed. "Alright, I'm up! What do you want?" he asked to no one in particular.

He finally figured to turn in the direction of the prodding and spotted Tempesta, looking rather board with him. "What do you want?" he asked, but then didn't need the answer. Patrolling time. Even though he understood that patrolling was necessary, the act involved very scarce moments of excitement separated by long, monotonous marching through the thick jungle, sometimes venturing into the grasslands.

He yawned loudly to wake up, and hopped down to the ground. Tempesta was already heading into the jungle and he followed her. "At least you could say good morning." He joked at her. Catching up to Tempesta, the two set out into the jungle, begging their patrol. Delano went over the patrol schedule in his mind. "Looks like we are going by the grasslands today." he said. Tempesta nodded. Delano sighed. "Dry but... hot. And sunny." he told no one in particular.

Addana woke from dreamland as the sun streamed into her den, and she wearily blinked the last remnants of sleep from her eyes, surpressed a yawn, and stretched like a ouse cat. Her dark fur glinted in the sun light, and her emerald eyes evaluated her surroundings. She rolled her shoulders, an trotted out of the den at her usual brisk pace. She nodded in greeting to the pride members she passed, and quickly made her way to where the scent of her family was strongest. "Father, Mother," she greeted and turned to Marrone. "I apologize for being late, Father, shall we depart?"

Mheetu followed the jungle a little bit and the lion found himself stepping out into dry grass, he stared down at the crunchy grass beneath his large paws. It looked like the Pride lands but it was alot dryer and less life, "This place is definitely not like home.." he mumbled. Her green eyes scanned the area for any food and he noticed some dust rise up in the distance, he causally moved towards it.


Dyanna brought a small paw to her muzzle and she held back a laughter watching Zuwa get a bath, "I'll wait Himili, I don't mind." she said softly. Her bright blue eyes watched Himili with Zuwa and it made her sad inside, she shook the thought of missing the mornings with her mom from her mind. She sat in the grass and played with a small grasshopper as she waited.


Marrone nodded to Adanna, "Its fine. Shall we get going Princess?" he said pulling his large body to his achy paws. The king was beginning to age quickly and he found himself moving slower and slower as the days carried on. He shook his dark chocolate mane and lead his daughter into the deep jungle, "Stay close Adanna." he ordered softly. His grey eyes scanned the trees as he looked for the hidden spot, "Now where is it.." he grumbled walking next to the stone walls. Finally he spotted a cobwebbed entrance, it was dark and smelled of fresh water. "Here we are.." he said smiling to his daughter.

Tempesta rolled her turqouise eyes at Delano's complaining and she padded beside him, "Good morning." she said sarcastically. The lioness hopped up onto a large outgrown tree root and she looked down at Delano, "Lets patrol the grasslands and get back, Dyanna is still very sad and she hates being alone." she spoke softly frowning. She stepped ahead of Delano and froze as she stepped through the jungle's thick bushes, "Delano...look..." she said pointing towards the moving lion in the grass before them. She smirked slightly, "A trespasser...hush!" she said grabbing Delano's muzzle before he could speak. She pushed him back into the bushes a moment noticing Mheetu had glanced behind him, "Lets go.." she whispered.

Addana padded forward softly, looking around her as she beheld the unfamiliar part o the jungle around her. SHe finally spotted the cobwebbed entrance a few moments after her father did. She curiously nosed her into it, jumping back startled when a creature scurried out. Seeng it was just a sider, she shook her fur self consciously and stood beside Marrone.

Delano glared at Tempesta when she forced his muzzle shut. The two hid behind the thick jungle foliage an waited. Unable to hear much, Delano peeked in order to get a better view. He only saw a lone lion, and a fairly young one at that. Well, by fairly young, being roughly Delano's age.

From what little he could see, the rogue made a lot of noise, even though he looked alert. Definitely inexperienced. He hid back behind the safety of the thick greenery. "Just one rogue." he whispered to Tempesta. "Young, looks fairly inexperienced. Should we confront him?" He tried getting a better look, but the leaves that hid him also hid the rogue. Delano wouldn't see enough to risk being spotted, and therefore slipped back to Tempesta.

"Almost done..." she said, licking his head. "There. Now you may play. Stay within sight." "Finally!" Exlaimed Zuwa, and playfully tapped Dyanna's back ankle, knocking her over.
