Vah watched Kiara turn around to face him shortly after he asked her whether or not she was a rogue. In all honesty, Vah doubted that was true, as rogues tend to be more cautious and even hostile to other lions. Well, that was Vah's view anyway. Not that he knew anything about that sort of thing, but he still stood by the fact he didn't think Kiara was a rogue. What Vah heard from her next, though, certainly surprised him, to say the least.
Vah was expecting a resounding 'No.' as a response to his question. Instead Kiara told him that she didn't even know. At first, Vah thought that she was just joking around, but her confused expression made him think otherwise. How could she 'not know' whether she was a rogue or not? When Vah thought back, however, he remembered how he first found her, lying helpless on the ground at the bottom of a relatively steep hill.
Was it possible that Kiara lost part of her memory just as she passed out? Vah simply shook his head in disbelief and dismissed his own claim. It wasn't possible, surely. Suddenly, he felt a pang of worry hit him. "Kiara? Are you okay?" Vah asked, worried about any injuries she may be suffering, both physical and mental. Vah stood up and slowly began approaching her, but he hoped she wouldn't get scared, as he was genuinely quite worried for her, even if she was a stranger. Vah still felt it was his responsibility to help Kiara out as much as possible.
