Marini smiled at her little brother, before starting to eat some herself.

Dakari had almost succesfully gotten up, but his friends wait on top of him caused him to drop back down. "Please get off," he sounded quite desperate, "I... I'll do anything you say for a whole day?"

Mufalfa nodded. "It sounds like very young animals." Suddenly he saw the cubs and groaned.

Kujasiri looked over at his sister. "I wonder why this place is uninhabited."

Mzuri got off of him, not knowing she was still on top of him. "Sorry." She then noticed two big lions. "They're coming this way." They looked massive to her and she hoped that they were friendly, hearing stories of aduklt lions killing cubs.

Fadhili smiled when she saw the cubs, "Oooooooooooh! They're the cutest thing I've ever seen!"

Marini swallowed and then shook her head, "I dunno." she said, taking another bite and then mumbling, "I mean, it's got food, water and I think I even saw a cave a few minutes ago."

Dakari, being lost for already 3 days, was afraid to suddenly come across two older lions. "Uh... hello."

Mufalfa snorted. 'All that means is more mouths to feed." Mufalfa looked at the cubs. 'Don't ask to join runts."

Kujasiri nodded his head. "Yeah it just makes you wonder why more lions are not here." He then got that thought out of his mind. "So sister...what about you? I mean have you ever liked anyone?"

Mzuri was frightened herself and she went behind Dakari. "I hope they're friendly."

Mufalfa's sister frowned at him, "We can't just leave them here. Besides whenever we feed on something you hunted there's always more than half of it left."

Marini looked at him, "How could I have ever liked someone if I've never met a lion who wasn't our mom or dad?" she didn't want to admit it, but she was losing hope of ever finding a mate and having cubs of her own. If she and her brother didn't find a pride soon, then they weren't going to have much of a choice.

Mufalfa said, "Do you think that feeding these runts is all that they need? Are you willing to stay up all night for them? Are you willing to watch them all day? I know I am not."

Kujasiri nodded. "Well maybe there is a male lion out here." He kept looking around and saw nothing. "How much food do you think is here anyway?" He hoped that food would never run out.

Fadhili couldn't believe that this was the only thing her brother was thinking about, "I'll watch them, okay?" she begged, "We can't just leave them for dead in the middle of nowhere."

Marini shrugged, "I don't think so. Remember that this is the only part we've seen of this place so far. Besides, food isn't the real problem. The real problem is finding other lions around here." she tried not to show that she didn't have alot of belief in his first statement, "Yeah, maybe..."

Mufalfa nodded. "I will have nothing to do with them. Understand me runts?" Mzuri looked surprised and said, "Yes...sir." She looked at Dakari uncertain if they should join.

Kujasiri said to her, "So uh you know I believe there might be other lions out here." He tried to show her he was confident but he wasn't so sure himself. "We have to have hope right?"

Dakari looked at his friend, his look saying that this was probably an oppertunity which might not return. Fadhili meanwhile smiled at the cubs, "Well come on, you must be starving."

Marini sighed, "Yeah... We can always hope."

Mzuri smiled. At least the younger looking one seemed nicer. She spoke, "Well we don't want to be a burden ma'am. I mean it is up to you if we should eat." Mufalfa snorted. The runts were already a burden.

Kujasiri nodded. "You'll have a better chance of entering a pride than me."
