Basic Story: Peace finally came to the Pridelands, with the Outlanders returning to Priderock. However an old inhabitant is returning and who knows what dangers are following his pawprints

A new day dawned in the Pridelands. The sun had risen, washing the savanna with a mix of radient reds, yellows, and oranges. The various africa animals were going about their daily lives. Birds were feeding their young. The elephants had gathered at the waterhole for a drink, and the herd of Zebra, were eating the lush grass of the plains. It truly was a time of peace. Over at Priderock, was the pride responsable for this time.

On top of Priderock, Simba was enjoying the warmth of the sun, along with a gentle breeze. He was looking over his kingdom. Sat in the very spot he and his father talked about kingship. As Simba observed his lands, he thought about his past. How Scar exiled him. The life in the Jungle. His return. The battle with the outlanders. He had enjured much. Now everything was normal. The Outsiders had returned home, and Simba was leading the Pridelands into a long era of peace

Down in a private den, the suns warm rays shone on sleeping lion and lioness. It was Kovu and Kiara. The sunshne was slowly waking Kovu up. He and Kaira were side by side, and she had used his mane as a soft pillow during the night. When Kovu woke up he leaned down to give his golden mate a lick on her muzzle

[Buffy]

It was a beautiful and sunny day, the birds were flying high above and the ants were crawling on the ground. In a field, lay Kovu and Kiara. They were admiring the beauty of the day. "I love you, Kovu..." Kiara told her mate before tagging him and running off. He smiled for one moment and then chased her. He caught up to her quite quickly and pinned her. He then leaned down to give her a lick on her muzzle. Kiara gave a little giggle and opened her eyes. True enough, Kovu had given her a lick, but the other stuff was all a dream. But she didn't care. She was with Kovu. She looked into his green eyes and smiled. "Good morning." She said and licked him before snuggling into his mane. He was as soft as ever and she felt like she wanted to stay snuggled into him forever...

Meanwhile, two other lionesses were waking up from their sleep. Nala woke up first, she gave a small stretch before opening her eyes to take a look. She saw that Simba was already awake and that he was out of the cave already. She decided to get up to see him, but she was distracted by a big yawn. It came from the lioness Buffy. Buffy was very unpredictable, but had a kind heart. "Good morning!" Buffy nearly yelled out. She got up on all fours and took a look. "Or is it still good night for you?" She asked, without any reply. Oh well... She thought and started walking out when she bumped into Nala. "Oh! Hello Nala!" Buffy gave a smile. "Good morning... You headed anywhere?" Nala asked the young lioness. "Uhm.. yeah, to the waterhole! My throat is kinda dry this morning." Buffy replied and then tested if her throat was dry. Indeed it was. "May I join you?" Nala asked and looked straight into Buffy's brown eyes, and Buffy was indeed looking into Nala's ocean coloured eyes. "Sure!" She said and then ran off, with Nala right behind her.

Kovu's eyes were fixed on Kiara. She was such a gentle sleeper, and very cosy to sleep with. Kiaras gaze was accompinied by a joyful good morning, followed by a kiss and a snuggle. Hey, good morning. Did you sleep well? Kovu then leaned down andgave kiara an affectionate lick on her ears

Back on top of Priderock, Simba came out of his daydream and focussed. He say two lionesses heading out the cave. It was Buffy and Nala going for drink. Realizing he had nothing better to do right now, the king decided to join the pair. He stood up and ran down the snakey path along the side. When he reached the bottom, Simba went into a sprint to catch up with the two females. Ashe drew near he asked Morning Nala, morning Buffy. Mind if i join you?

[Buffy]

Nala and Buffy had already started their walk to the waterhole when suddenly Simba had caught up. "Please do!" Nala told him and gave him a smile before continuing. Buffy just nodded and continued walking. As they walked, the sun hit even more places in the Pridelands. You could never see something like this unless you lived in the Pridelands. The sunrise and sunset were both beautiful, but the african sunrise was the most magical. It wasn't only the light and the sun's touch, it was the life. The life of the animals, the insects and even the plants. They were all doing their thing, contributing to this beautiful morning. This was a morning full of magic, even if the ones who were lucky enough to enjoy it didn't notice...

Meanwhile, in the cave Kiara was waking up. She yawned and gave a huge stretch. It was very satisfying. It was actually so satisfying that her claws, which she now had out started trembling. As soon as she finished stretching she giggled. It was pretty typical of Kiara to giggle, she guessed Kovu liked it because she did it alot and he had not yet left her. She had a feeling he would stick around forever. Just as Kiara was about to respond to Kovu, she was licked by him. His tongue was warm and pretty soaked, but she didn't care. She enjoyed every bit of it. "I had an AMAZING sleep! How was yours?" She asked him. She hoped his was as great as hers, or at least good. In case it was bad she snuggled into his mane yet again, just to show some love...

It was a good morning. The sky was clear, the sun was out, the pridelands were coming to life, and Simba ws spendng time with his bloved mate. Fair enough they had company,but bufy was such a great pride member ans a friend that it dd nto bother Simba. As the lions walked the sun began to warm their bodes with it's radience. When they got to the water hole Simba stepped forward and began to drink. As usual the water as perfect. Clean clear and uncontaminated

As Kiara was walking up, Kovu watched her with keen eyes. She was so cute no matter what she was up to. When she started giggling Kovu could not help but grin a little. While he nuzzled her gain eh responded Yeah I had a great sleep, I always do with you As the dylight shoe into the cave and greeted the couple Kovu asked So what does my little princess want to do today?

[Buffy]

Their walk to the waterhole had been peaceful, and when they reached they realised how refreshing the water was that day. Nala bent down, right next to Simba and started licking up some water. Buffy, on the other hand, walked straight into the water and started drinking while standing in it. She had heard from several creatures that she was weird, so she was fully aware of it. She eventually walked up to a more shallow part of the waterhole and lay down. She enjoyed the cool water touching her belly, sometimes she even went for a swim.

Kiara rolled over on her back and looked up at Kovu. "Well, here are some ideas! First we play around till we're exhausted, then we go to the waterhole, we should be hungry by then so we go hunting and lastly, just enjoy ourselves. Unless you want to do something else!" She smiled and decided to roll back on her side so she could have her head up.
