Vah smiled at Hasani and nodded, approving of his friend's idea of asking to hunt on their lands and also to join their pride. It was a good cover story, but Vah still had a feeling that this 'Fumo' that they had seen earlier, would be suspicious about him and Hasani. Still, Fumo had no evidence that the two friends were there for anything but hunting. Plus, as Hasani said, it was a good chance to get to know the ins and outs of the pride they were planning on taking over, which would give them a good advantage when it cane to fighting.

"Great idea, Hasani and also, Fumo has no reason to believe we want to cause any harm." Vah told Hasani, glad that his friend had come up with this plan. It would save him a lot of worrying and loss of sleep in the future. Vah stood up again and started walking to the exit. He nodded at Hasani, gesturing for him to follow. Vah then stopped in his tracks and looked back to Hasani. "We should ask to join the pride, first. Then ask to hunt." he said, just to clarify with Hasani about what they were doing. After saying this, Vah turned away and began walking outside again, towards the pride.

Fumo's grin slowly faded as he turned his head and watched Amana storm out of the den for, what seemed like, no good reason at all. Fumo was very confused and also slightly downheartened by the way Amana had just left without saying anything. He shook his head and sighed in exasperation.

Basha was shocked by the way Amana had just acted in front of their parents. It seemed to Basha that Amana was acting worse that Fumo. A lot worse. That's difficult to do. Basha nodded at her parents, agreeing that she should try and see what was wrong with Amana. She quickly stood up and turned, running after the young lioness. Soon enough, Basha caught up with Amana. "Amana! What on earth just happened back there?!" she asked, now quite angry at Amana.
