Kulinda eventually found a spot by the enclosure fence that was a little out of the way, where she lay down and curled up, resting her head on her paws, staring out into the open winderness beyond. she felt bad for treating Daxis so harshly...but the cub was so stubborn that she knew she had to be harsh with him in order to make him learn his lesson...she had been raised in a similarly caring, but harsh environment, and even though she had hated her parents at times during it, she now realised that they had done everything because they cared for her, and wanted to raise her into someone who would not treat anyone harshly.
Thinking of her parents made her think of her brother, causing a heavy, shaky sigh to escape from her. "Mwamba, I miss you..." she whispered softly as she looked out into the wide plains. He was out there...somewhere...

Tanga sighed, but just as he opened his mouth to reply, he too caught Daxis' scent, and sighed. "If you can smell that...he happened," he said, his voice filled with sadness instead of anger. "He attacked the human, but Kulinda managed to convince him to stop...he still hurt the creature, though, so he had to leave. He still seems to trust me, so I guess that's a good thing."
He decided to leave out that he already knew Daxis' name, and stopped from explaining further as the cub in question appeared, looking sad and nervous, a set of emotions Tanga thought he had never seen on the cub before. "Are you okay?" he asked, only a small amount of concern lacing his voice, as he watched the cub carefully. His previous attempt to attack him was still fresh in Tanga's mind, and as such, he was cautious, hoping that a repeat performance was not about to happen.

Tyson nodded at Shane's words. "She seems to have almost taken the cub in as her own child..." he said, before deciding they could not put off their discussion any longer. "Now, what are we going to do about security in the enclosure. I don't want any more poachers getting in. This group we've collected have some interesting fur patterns, and I'm sure that poacher that got away will start spreading the word to find help. We need to make sure we're ready for them next time."
