Auni felt releived at Kioja's words, but still a little wary that she might be judgemental of him. He could be a little overwhelming and he knew that alot of lions usually thought him an idiot on first encounters with him.

"Well, if I didn't worry about what others thought of me, I'd be very annoying, I'm afraid." He sighed, turning to Kioja. "I'm not very good with strangers. My pride didn't have alot of cubs and, before I met this lot, I'd been alone for quite a while."

Kamau padded over to his younger sister planted on the ground. She was tired and she was still in shock no doubt and with the soon arrival of cubs coming any day now, the stress would not be good on her body. The lion walked over to her and listened to her speak. The answers to her question was simple, almost like he had known the answer all along and was just waiting for her to ask so he could reveal it to her, "Mulfalfa set fire to the Pridelands. And Imani...," he looked back at his sister with her mate and then down at his sister's inquiring eyes, "...Imani...she chased him out of the pride...it was for the best, Ra. If he had stayed, he would have caused more harm anyways". Once he felt her on his paws and purr with love, his eyes narrowed. She isn't seeing me...she's seeing father...

Kioja heard Mulfalfa's name and perked her head up to when she knew she was being referred to rather than Imani in Kamau's tone. Was Kamau protecting her from being hated by Ra even more, or was he trying to give more credit to his baby sister than she deserved? Didn't matter, all that was known in the situation was that Mulfalfa was to never return again, and there was the arrival of cubs from a stressed mother coming soon. She had taken her attention away from Auni for a matter of time to sort out her own thoughts, but she heard everything he said. Bless her and her multi-tasking abilities. Kioja turned her head to Auni, looking up at him, "I was alone until I met Imani's brother and his mate. They took me in and raised to become what I am now, though I know it's not to be the perfect example of a lioness. When I was a cub, I was taken away from my parents and brother by Mulfalfa. I was going to have a sister...but she wasn't born yet..." she thought out loud. Once she realized she was speaking this much, she drew back her form and closed her eyes to sit down and stare at the ground.

Imani had been listening to Kioja's story as well as the others, and a thought came to her head. An unborn sister? That sounds a lot like..., she looked up at Tanga and then back to Kioja, I wonder...is Kioja older than Tanga?

Ra gasped. "He's gone forever isn't he?" Ra asked. but cutting her losses, she decided to ask answer another question. "Brother, i heard what you said before, even if my mind wouldn't accept what it was seeing. I don't care what the rest of my pride say, but i would love to come to your pride, if you would accept me, if you would help me with the cubs" she asked, Rather begged Kamau for his help.

Tanga also heard parts of Kioja's story, and when Imani looked up at him, he returned her gaze with a great deal of apprehensive confusion. As far as he knew...he had never had any siblings. No, he thought, as he sorted through those painful memories. Aside from his unborn sister, Uhuru, there had been no others...as far as he was aware...right?

The confusing part for him was that he knew that his memory was not the best, and that the trauma of seeing his parents killed may have cause his memory to block some things out. Had there been a sister all along? A sister he had forgotten? He felt certain that the answer was no...but Kioja's story had way too much in common with his own for it to be mere coincidence.

But how to approach the situation? If he asked, that would mean revealing he had eavesdropped, albiet unintentionally, on her conversation with Auni, and he did not look upon the idea of her claws raking across his muzzle with pleasure. He looked to Imani once more, trying to convey to her in a look his confusion and curiosity, not knowing what to do.

Auni listened to Kioja's story and felt a rush of sympathy for the lioness. But he also didn't miss the similarities between Kioja's family and Tanga's family. He noticed everyone else stiffen at this news, only a little annoyed at their obvious eavesdropping.

Tanga had never mentioned a sister... But if she had been taken away as a cub...

"Oh." He said, looking back at Kioja. "I may not have been keen on my family, but I guess at least I had one. Do you remember your mother, father and brother." He looked at her intently.
