Kara and Dixon always found Baya's behavior funny, if rude and annoying. They hoped that maybe he'd cut it out if they acted like he was a joke, but somehow it only seemed to result in him continuing to sneer and watch from a distance as the happy royal couple enjoyed their lives.
As if on cue, some of the other lionesses in the pride left as Nala arrived at the waterhole, and by the time everyone was through with it there was a freshly-dispatched gazelle waiting for them nearby. All but one of the lionesses left to catch another meal for themselves while one approached the waterhole. Your majesties, a meal. she said respectfully, with a smile on her face. The subordinates of the pride were so happy with Dixon and Kara's ruling that they were willing to serve them happily; little did they know that Nala's Pride was currently in a completely different state. Thank you. Kara replied, I trust it wasn't too much trouble. the other lioness giggled slightly and replied, None at all. as she began to walk off to help bring down the next meal. Dixon turned to Nala and said, Our meal awaits us.
