"No, we never found his body," Nala said sadly, "it's as if he just vanished into thin air." She looked at Kovu for a second then asked, "would you like to walk with me? I don't want to head back home yet."

Kovu thought about Nala's answer for a few seconds. COuld his mother be telling the truth? However he did not say anything about it because Nala didn't like talking aobut it. He threw Nala a friendly smile, "Sure, if you'll feel any better." he said and waited for her to lead the way

"Goood" Jata said stretching out her front paws. "Simba, how long before this blasted treatment is over?" Jata asked

"At the end of the week you can walk around," he said, "for now you need to stay put and enjoy my affections." He licked the top of her head tenderly.

Nala smiled at Kovu and started walking. "Follow me, I have a nice place to show you."

Simba looked at her seriously, "yes it has to be a week, unless you never want to walk again." He laid next to her to keep her warm. "For now I suppose I'll just have to keep you company until you can move."

Nala grinned and kept walking. "It's a place I once went to when I was younger," she said, "Scar was king at the time and I had runaway to search for help. I found this place and it was beautiful, but I couldn't enjoy it very much because I had more important things to do at the time. I told myself I'd come back to appreciate it more one day."

"Why did it happen to me?" Jata asked "I want to go and see this great place" Jata said sadly
