[Open] Merementa's Pride

Merementa and Shiva came strolling out the cave side by side, going after their daughter. In a way they were glad she raced ahead. Neither admitted it but they both enjoyed the little private moments when no one else was around. Noticing her daughter bounce around and jump on rock made Shiva sigh a little Ah to be young again, what i would't give to be a free teen again, well as free as i could be, you never took you greedy eyes off me, especially by backside

Shiva glared over at Merementa who was trying to just hold back his fits laughter You sound like an old women. Your still a beauty in my eyes, and i know your still a cub at heart, under you rough attitude. AS for you being a teen, what did you expect, your the one who kept flirting with me and shoving it in my face, and dont tell me you didnt enjoy our first night at the forest waterfall

Shiva suddenly went bright red. Although Merementa was right and she had enjoyed herself, the memory stirred her a little. She remembered being so nervous yet so excited at the same time. In the end it was all worth it. They continued to walk in silence, enjoying the new day. Shiva managed to get over her embarrassment just before joining up with their daughter as the family continued to the waterhole

Hallia smiled as Kheri started to lead the way "so what might a handsom lion like yourself be doing on such a day" she asked as she blushed slightly, she then took the lead as she nudged him playfully as she passed running to the waterhole and as she reached the edge she stumbled and fell in.

A few minutes later Star heard the pawsteps of her parents come closer as they both caught up to her. From the laughing and playful teasing she had heard behind her, she guessed they must have been enjoying a quiet moment together. This put Star in higher spirits as she quickened her pace to match her parents' larger strides.
As the waterhole started to come within view she began to notice more and more animals gathering around it for a refreshing drink. Some of the younger cubs were splashing around in the shallower depths of the pond. Star glanced around her and noticed Kheri and Hallia making their way there too. Suddenly Hallia raced ahead and stumbled headfirst into the water. Star giggled aloud. "Hey Dad let's see you dunk Mom in the water like that!" she laughed.


Kheri was taken completely by surprise by Hallia's response and found himself blushing bright red as a result. "M-me? Uh.. you know, just going to get a drink," he replied lamely. He watched her run off ahead of him and cursed inwardly to himself. It gave him a bit of amusement as he looked up to see the lioness trip over the edge of the waterhole and fall headfirst into the water with a tremendous splash. Kheri allowed himself to chuckle softly to himself as he trotted over to help her out.

As Hallia pulled herself from the water she shook off and tryed to ack like nothing had happened by casually turning round and leaning in for a drink, she then looked around to see that more than one of her fellow pride members had seen her "how embarrasing" she thought to herself as she again leaned in to lap up some of the refreshing fluid that she had previosly fallen head first into.
