Simba nodded at his friend, and started jumping over at the big gaps. It was very hard, but he kept going. Simba was too busy to think about what his pride was doing, where they were located. Simba stopped every three jumps to make sure Kovu was caught up to him, and wasn't far behind. Simba saw the mandrill's tree come closer and cloer to him and his friend every jump he took. Simba squeaked as he almost fell throgh a big gap, bit managed to jump over it quickly so he couldn't fall in.

Kovu followed his friend, avoiding the gaps because he had no strength left. He almost yelled when he saw that his friend almost fell on a big gap. He walked around it so he wouldn't fall. The tree was really close this time. We're almost there! he said, hoping Rafiki knew where the Outsiders and his family were. He smiled.

As soon as the two friends reached the tree, a happy singing Rafiki jumped out at them. Startled, Simba jumped back. Oooo, do I see cubs with no pride? Rafiki said with a smile. This monkey is strange, be careful. Simba whispered to Kovu. Simba giggled and turned back to Rafiki. Rafiki, do you know where everyone went? There was an earth quake, and Kovu and I were busy playing, and now we can't find our prides. Rafiki patted Simba and Kovu on the head. I know where dey went. But it far away and too far for cubs to walk. You have to go onto a journey if you want to reach your pride. Rafiki said.

Kovu examined the baboon. He looked really looked weird, but he looked friendly enough. He smiled, but he kept a distance as soon as he heard Simba. He listened carefully. Journey? That sounds really dangerous, he thought. But then again, it was a way to make his mother proud of him. He got the courage and asked the baboon, So where did they went? How far away? Are you gonna immigrate from this land? he realized her asked to many questions and he gulped.

Rafiki gave Kovu a warm smile. They went that way, into the woods. They now at grassy plains where there are no earthquakes. They be back in a few months but I suggest you go with them. It is a bit far too. Rafiki patted Simba and Kovu on the head. I shall guide you two half way but then you are on your own. Rafiki had a warning tone in his voice.

Kovu smiled at the monkey, relieved from the fact the monkey knew where their prides were. Thanks Mr. Rafiki! he told the baboon. He then got a mischievous look and turned to Simba. You sure you wanna go on a journey Simba? It sounds really dangerous... he told him with a sarcastic tone.

Simba smirked at Kovu. Danger? HA! I walk on the wilds side... I laugh in the face of danger. HAHAHAHA. Simba got on his brave face. But then he thought that last time he had said that he had NOT walked on the wild side.. he had o get saved by his father. Simba gave his friend an innocent look. Just kidding... Simba looked at Rafiki for approval to go, he smiled, and as Simba led the way, Rafiki was right behind them.

Kovu grinned as he heard Simba saying ''just kidding''. He learned the incident on the Elephant Graveyard from his adopted father, Scar. He rushed near his friend and followed him. That's so exciting! We're out for an adventure! he thought. What do you think we're gonna find on our way to our prides, Simba? he asked his friend.
