But wouldn't it work for any $ bill? I live in England so have £ notes anyways, but to check if they're fake you hold it up to a light or scribble with this blue pen thingy. I hardly ever check though, doubt anyone would go into a charity shop and use fake money.. I mean not willingly knowing it was fake at least.
In holland we've got these blacklight lamps where you keep the bill under, and you see a watermark lighting up. It was actually the most interesting part of my job as a cassier back when I was 16

£20 notes, £5 notes, whichever, you just hold it up to the light and see if you can see the watermark I think there is also something that if you shine UV light on the note, it shows something up
